    Princess Leah Says:

oooo…maybe Jimenez is tired from all that running.

    Bubdoubter Says:

    Mike Minor, anyone?

  5. 280
    Princess Leah Says:

The wave…lovely. THAT won’t be distracting.

  6. 281
    Bubdoubter Says:

    Awesome debut for Venters.

  7. 282
    Princess Leah Says:

How did they keep JoJo and send down that kid?

  8. 283
    Bubdoubter Says:

Jeez, I didn’t know till just now we were being no-hit.

  9. 284
    Princess Leah Says:

No hitter…no hitter…no hitter…there, that should take care of it.

  10. 285
    Princess Leah Says:

    Fowler’s a sissy.

    Princess Leah Says:

I’m ready for a new pitcher. Glaus was robbed. I hate this game.

  12. 287
    Bubdoubter Says:

Ugh. I do not want to see McCann be the guy getting the big out on ESPN all night.

  13. 288
    Bubdoubter Says:

At least he didn’t strike out.

  14. 289
    Princess Leah Says:

All night? All year. Whatever. I don’t want to talk about it.

    Bubdoubter Says:

Kawakami is way more depressing than being no-hit, to me. Congrats to Jonny Venters, though. Good looking kid.

    Yuck, and g’night.

    Kathryn Says:

That brought back bad memories from the Randy Johnson perfect game.

The good news is Ubaldo is on my fantasy team.

    CRAP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  18. 293
    Princess Leah Says:

I’ll feel better about the Braves getting no hit if the Cards beat the Mets in the bottom of the 19th.

    Will Says:

Bub – all good points but I still can’t seem to dislike him much. Its probably more a reflection of my compromised character.

    CRAP-o-mighty.

Wanted to watch the game this morning…going to clean the garage instead.

    Anne Says:

Venters was just great – proud of the kid.
Kawakami…I said enough about my doubts last year and I still have doubts. Hubbard ran out with a jacket for him after he made it to first, and his mind was clearly on the next inning rather than being a base runner.
Disappointing for the Bravos, but as a baseball fan, I gotta say I was silently wishing that Jimenez would get the shut out – just because they’re so rare to see. He made the headlines on CNN dot com already.
The highlight of the evening: guess who was on Kiss Cam??????? (that’d be me)

  21. 296
    Princess Leah Says:

I hate baseball and Frenchy’s Marmaduke expression of excitement.

  22. 297
    Bubdoubter Says:

At the end of 11 games, my concerns, in order:

    1. Jurrjens’ arm.
    2. Derek Lowe
    3. Kawakami
    4. Glaus
    5. Bobby Cox
    6. Lead Off
    7. Wagner’s arm

    My excitement, in order:

    1. Heyward
    2. Hanson
    3. McCann
    4. Prado
    5. Medlen
    6. Tim Hudson
    7. Minor/Venters/Kimbrel

    Wiley Says:

as someone who attended tonights game. I was bittersweet about the no no. I am glad i saw it but that will be on the season summary shows for the at the end of the year. That will suck. But at least he wasnt perfect. And also, think about how many people were rooting against us tonight around the eighth and ninth. That sucks.
