We’ll know if we have a season or not in 35 minutes and counting…

I sense that there has never been an ABT podcast mood more dependent on a single Sunday game than this one today.
7-5 with a good Jurrjens
versus
6-6 with poop.

Could cut the tension with a knife. I feel like Braves nation is holding a collective breath. I like the red jerseys and what wouldn’t I give to be sitting in one of those empty seats right now.

Velocity pretty good through 2nd inning. 2 pitches at 93. A half dozen at 92 or better. Nothing at 87 or 88.
Location bad a little, but those last 2 K’s the location was perfect. Every pitch low in the zone and/ or on the corners.
April 18th, 2010 at 2:17 pm
Sorry, half dozen at 91 or better. Don’t know how that 2 got in there.
April 18th, 2010 at 2:18 pm
The pitch that was hit by that one guy in that other inning was a good pitch so says Glavine.
April 18th, 2010 at 2:20 pm
One burger over the line, Cabrera, one burger over the line.
April 18th, 2010 at 2:21 pm
OKAY…I need someone to tell me who to blame. I have to be mad at coach or melky or someone. But I like Diaz at 1st.
April 18th, 2010 at 2:21 pm
I mean batting 1st.
April 18th, 2010 at 2:22 pm
I bet Diaz went to the dugout and said, “sux seeing that ball hit home before you do huh.”
April 18th, 2010 at 2:27 pm
I feel the pendelum swinging. We’ve got this game.
April 18th, 2010 at 2:30 pm
Oh GOODIE! HOOOOORAAAAY!!! I’ve mentioned before how free I feel to make random comments when a new show is about to post soooo…I thought this tweet by Michael Schlact was pretty hilarious.
“Yo Ubaldo..imma let you finish..but this #Mets and #Cardinals game is the best game of the 2010 season so far. Believe it.”-Kanye West

If the skipper tells you not to swing and you see the ball coming down broadway is it bad to swing?
April 18th, 2010 at 2:44 pm
Yes it is.
April 18th, 2010 at 2:45 pm
Very bad for a rookie. If you do it, you’d better claim you misunderstood the sign.
April 18th, 2010 at 2:51 pm
Jurrjens locating VERY well in the 4th. Wearing out the black. Beautiful.
Also 93 MPH on that last K pitch.
April 18th, 2010 at 2:52 pm
Well darn. Wiley, are you feeling better today? Sorry at such a young age you had to experience your team fall from grace so heavily. I have found the silver lining to last night’s no no. Prado was going to have to end his hitting streak at some point so it makes it less dramatic and less of a downer for it to happen in a game where nobody else hits either. He’s a sensitive fella.
April 18th, 2010 at 2:54 pm
Diaz is on FIYAH. Double, Single, Triple.
Just needs a dinger.
April 18th, 2010 at 2:54 pm
Darn that J Hey has to listen to the skipper not that JJ looks awesome. YEAH for Matty D! Come on homer!
April 18th, 2010 at 2:59 pm
We should have 4 runs. Another inning that all they could get was a bases loaded walk. Glaus hammered that ball, just at the wrong spot. Somewhat encouraging. I want this run right here.
April 18th, 2010 at 3:02 pm
We really should be blasting this guy. If we don’t score here, far more concerning than yesterday. This guy’s got nothing.
April 18th, 2010 at 3:04 pm
The Glaus hammer was another offspeed, by the way. But yesterday’s good hit (caught by flying Fowler) was off a heater, I think. Feeling a little better about Glaus.
Ugh, McCann too anxious there. My good feeling isn’t as good – we should be blistering this dude. Leaving Jurrjens hanging and under pressure when he needs a break.
April 18th, 2010 at 3:05 pm
Melky showed some power also right? Feet away from a grand slam. Can’t wait for the new show tonight! Don’t be too much of a downer Eeyore k? Glad Bubdoubter’s not a host. Geez, that guy…
April 18th, 2010 at 3:14 pm
Five pitches in the 70′s to Glaus from a lefthander. Grounder to 3rd. Damn frustrating. C’mon, Braves, TAG this guy. This is dumb.
April 18th, 2010 at 3:16 pm
74 mph. Mowing us down. Disgusting.
