John Smoltz on Mike and Mike was very balanced and professional. And didn’t profess his own character even once. A full ten minute piece, and he was very good.

Bub, short answer is no. Sekou Smith, who now works for the NBA network or something and used to be the Hawks beat writer – and who is really great at his job, had some BRUTAL things to say about the team after Tuesday’s game. Poor coaching, lack of cohesion, lack of team chemistry, etc. Jamal Crawford, who has been invaluable all season, as evident by his recent 6th man of the year award, was totally faded by his teammates upon receiving said reward. Apparently, only Zsa Zsa and Randolph Morris showed up to the award ceremony. Sekou also pointed out that the Bucks are running some very basic rotations to get their guards isolated on our bigs and Woodson has done nothing to counter this. My buddy and I were amazed at how many times the Bucks had wide open 3 pointers. They just move the ball until they get the matchup they want and the Hawks have simply not adjusted.
But given that, they are the #3 seed and so they should have some ability to win one FREAKING game on the road. (1-10 in their last 11).

Curt, that’s a shame about the Hawks. I had it on ESPN3 earlier before my computer puked it up. I’ve been away so long I didn’t even recognize the unis, much less any players.
Maybe they’ll pull off the upset here and do the ol’ “come togethah” in game 7? It does go back to ATL if they win here, right?
