Troy Glaus is my hero.

A very disturbing trend I’m noticing watching Lowe’s last two starts on gameday, and now this one. When Lowe is on, he hits the bottom stripe of the zone with a ton of sinkers. But even that isn’t producing ground outs as consistently as last year. Decent hitters are serving pitches in that spot over the infield’s heads for singles.
And then, when Lowe misses high with that sinker, he’s getting destroyed. Really crushed. I would gusess that 50% or higher of Lowe’s sinkers that don’t hit that bottom stripe, but are in the zone, are hammered. So, it’s like, when his location is perfect, he’s only decent. And when it’s off, he’s terrible.
This is gonna be a looooong contract.

Lowe getting away with hanging sinkers.

If we score a few more here, maybe we can see the headline: Braves Chuck Norris.
May 2nd, 2010 at 2:50 pm
Will, if you’re swiping slow enough to count your too slow. I have learned that if you watch the screen after you “refresh” it will flash the bottom of the screen. Tap the screen at that exact point in time and it stays toward the bottom which =little scrolling.

lol, only Derek Lowe… 3-6-5 DP.
May 2nd, 2010 at 2:51 pm
Derek Lowe, not my hero

Letting Lemke do color is barely forgiveable, letting him do play-by-play is punishable by death.

You’ve never been more correct. “And now to the… [awkward pause like you're talking to somebody on the phone who gets a beep that interupts their voice] … top of the order brings up [voice becoming frightened] Bourne.”
Lowe getting hit harder. Way to follow up your impossible DP.
