    Ludwick-Puljols-Holiday-Rasmus = danger.

C’mon, Huddy. Do it up. Sinker.

Escobar playing some great D tonight

    C’mon, Huddy. One more.

    Bub Says:

    Whew.

Now, look alive, Bobby. Don’t let the man get rocked next inning.

    Mara Raincloud Says:

deep breath…let’s get that run back. When was the last time Wags pitched?

  7. 82
    Bub Says:

    1984

    Bub Says:

We dropped from #8 to #22 in the ESPN power rankings. I’ve never seen that happen. Ever.

  9. 84
    Bub Says:

10 Braves in a row retired since we had our last run. You can’t tell me that’s a coincidence. This team acts completely unwilling to play hard all the time.

  10. 85
    Mara Raincloud Says:

What were you saying about BC leaving Huddy in too long?

  11. 86
    Bub Says:

I know his pitch count is low, but Huddy has been running out of gas all of a sudden so far this year. The damage has been limited, but watching the games you can see it easily.

That is, you can see it. I can see it. Bobby won’t.

    Bub Says:

    BOBBY! A MIRACLE!

    Mara Raincloud Says:

Didn’t you know? He reads this forum.

    Bubby Cox Says:

Okay, between trying Escobar at leadoff, and pulling Tim Hudson after a homer and a walk, I hereby allow a glimmer of hope.

BUT, those 10 outs in a row after getting a few runs is looming large.

    Curtdoza Says:

I can’t believe after the last inning he was still in there. Got sucked into the Hawks game and turned back to see Hudson getting pulled. No reason he should have been out there.

  16. 91
    Curtdoza Says:

    DP right here.

  17. 92
    Curtdoza Says:

How dare Joe Simpson say Lowe/Carpenter is a “great match up”

  18. 93
    Steve Says:

Bub – it can’t all change in one night. We’ve actually scored runs, Yunel is wicked focused and Glaus and Melky are hittin’ it like Ted Williams. Baby steps, man.

  19. 94
    Bubby Cox Says:

Yeah, but… Curt… you didn’t REALLY expect Bobby to be THAT far into “noticing things and stuff,” did you? Baby steps. Baaaaaby steps.

  20. 95
    Mara Raincloud Says:

That’s my favorite name so far.

  21. 96
    Bubby Cox Says:

Umpiring this year has been awful. Just as often for us as against us, but that’s a shame. Can’t they get guys that are decent?

  22. 97
    Bubby Cox Says:

lol @ “baby steps” from me & Steve at the same time.

Melky drops the ball. Tie game.

  23. 98
    Mara Raincloud Says:

Card’s announcers are talking about their poor struggling SS. Bless their hearts. That must suck…to have a position player struggling so at the plate.

Who knows the skinny on St. Loui’s BP?
