McCann out of the line up. No Esco, no J-Hey, no Mac.
Beautiful.
May 6th, 2010 at 7:22 pm
no win
And Bub, that comment was coming from a world class blatherer
May 6th, 2010 at 7:24 pm
On encouraging note, the words McCann used to describe his slump sound to me like it isn’t his eyes.
“Things aren’t where I need them to be, just not putting together good at-bats. I’ve just got to ride it out. I haven’t really been here before in this position where I’m at right now. I’ll find a way to get back.”
McCann’s too honest for me to think he’d say he hasn’t really been here before if it was his eye(s), which of course is right where he’s been twice before. Just doesn’t sound like the language he’d use to describe it, even if he didn’t want to talk about his eyes again.

Yeah, Curt, I’ve been meaning to say something about your rambling posts.
May 6th, 2010 at 7:39 pm
We’re some non-hittin’ fools.
May 6th, 2010 at 8:06 pm
We’re being no-hit by Scott Olsen. Swell.
May 6th, 2010 at 8:37 pm
Curt, your beat-bucs-then-swept-by-magic prediction is still alive. Alive and well, even.
May 6th, 2010 at 8:39 pm
Hm. Power hitters are neat. Can we get one?
May 6th, 2010 at 8:44 pm
Can’t we just lose like a normal team? Not be humiliated. Not ensure round the clock lead stories on ESPN. So frustrating.
May 6th, 2010 at 8:47 pm
Hawks showing some life.
May 6th, 2010 at 8:48 pm
Heyward’s thinking to himself, “I’m glad I at least know it won’t be me to make the last out on the news.”
Meanwhile Bobby’s thinking, “I wonder if that new kid’s got one at-bat in him…”
May 6th, 2010 at 8:48 pm
Pile of poo…
May 6th, 2010 at 8:49 pm
I did some research to see if a team that was no-hit had ever gone on to win the WS, and surprisingly there were 8 teams that had accomplished just that. I am willing to bet that none of those teams was no-hit twice. Is this just not the most damning indictment of how bad this team is offensively? Seriously? And Huddy throwing another gem for nothing.
May 6th, 2010 at 8:52 pm
Actually, I favor the Braves to win the game now that the no-no is broken up.
May 6th, 2010 at 8:59 pm
Hawks up 8, Curt. Any predictions for the final score/ differential?
May 6th, 2010 at 9:01 pm
Clark Kent, meet Superman.
May 6th, 2010 at 9:02 pm
YESSSSSSS!!!!!!! My reverse jinx worked perfectly.
May 6th, 2010 at 9:05 pm
Hawks lose by 12. the 4th quarter looms
May 6th, 2010 at 9:24 pm
I don’t know what all the complaining’s been about all night on the board. Sure, I’ve just turned the game on but the boys look pretty good to me. Especially that J-Hey kid.
May 6th, 2010 at 9:27 pm
Oh David.
May 6th, 2010 at 9:28 pm
It’s all clearing up for me. I think I get it.
May 6th, 2010 at 9:29 pm
Meh. We got this.
May 6th, 2010 at 9:30 pm
Dammit! Scoring there would have really been much better.
May 6th, 2010 at 9:30 pm
And we hit into another Frenchy
May 6th, 2010 at 9:33 pm
Would that have been ball 4 to Ross? Just curious. I like torture.
