Who had the 5-4 prediction for the trip? Wasn’t it Ham?
May 12th, 2010 at 4:37 pm
I will note that this past show or the one before we ended on a Curt POSITIVE note, much to my chagrine. Just because we all sound alike does not mean it is me doing all the dumping. Just most of it.
Great sweep. And this was no Astros. It was on the road for flip sake. And we beat Gallardo with the Hamburglar on the mound.
Go Braves (NOW)

“Go Braves (NOW)”
You’re leaving me again, aren’t you, Curt? Well, I’ll be right here a’waitin’.
May 12th, 2010 at 4:45 pm
Okay, now I hate them.

Well, they do need a little extra help. That’s why they get 3 extra homegames this year.
May 12th, 2010 at 7:41 pm
Good grief. Our team’s in the news for being propped up by J-Hey.

Tcc, you’d be proud. I took over a peace plant from my mother’s house when her cat was trying to eat it, found it a spot in the apt that gets a little piece of sun during the day… and six months later, it’s lost the one bloom it had when I took it and it has FOUR proud white blooms coming out. Isn’t that a good number for a peace plant? Seems like most of the ones I see have two or three.
Anyway… lot’s of peace up dis piece. Word.

‘stros stickin it to the Red Birds! Who swept the ‘stros? That’s right…we did!
May 12th, 2010 at 10:04 pm
Tonight’s starter for the Cards gave up 7 runs to Arizona in 3 innings. I’m just saying.
May 12th, 2010 at 10:23 pm
Well, what a nice surprise..I had assumed that the game was another 8:10 start. Got off work and went to the local pub to play tunes with my buds. Left there about 8:30 thinking that the game was just underway. Turned on the radio, and No Braves!!! “Huh!?!” (Bub, like the CC miscall video I have watched many times). Got home, the Braves were up 4-2 and it was already the 7th inning!! Confused, but happy, I settled in and saw BC (the younger) hit his 2 run blast! About then, I realized that the game was an early start and I was watching the replay. Deja freaking Vu, dudes and dudesses! It was like a surprise breakfast in bed!
I haven’t had the chance to listen to the new show and now I’m wondering if I should just skip it, as the Bravisto Mens are on a streak and the show is probably full of D and G.
Bub..I guess that’s a Peace Lily and not a Peace Rose. Either way, you are to be commended. Keeping the Peace is always a good thing.

The “show all” button is a bit anticlimactic, isn’t it?
I guess it’s a Lily. It’s got one white, cupped shaped petal with a large green spikey stick in the middle.
May 12th, 2010 at 10:44 pm
Sounds like a Lilly to me. New rule: after a great win and before a day off NO LOGIC!
May 12th, 2010 at 10:58 pm
My logic shouldn’t bother you. By my logic, there was no way we win today, and we stomped them.
May 12th, 2010 at 11:01 pm
We sure did! Wahoooo!

Diamondbacks have been swept in their last two series. 6 game losing streak. I’ll just leave that there and let you do what you will with it.

Anne – comment #323, very, very funny.
May 13th, 2010 at 9:08 am
much more fun when we win. as my dad always says, save some runs for next game/series.
Lost – one one level totally lame, agree with you Ham. there’s a pool of gold light and it is….whatever. On another, kind of enjoyed them being creative/risk taking/myth making. Even though the myths and the mysteries were sort of half-baked. Because it was so out there..I have to say I liked it better than last week. The first scene with the….rock…eeeww. gave me the willies.
where were we…I hope KK gets a win soon. I haven’t really been able to watch his full games…does his record reflect/not reflect how well he pitches? Remember our concern that he doesn’t have enough pitch variety…that year 2 he gets figured out. Anybody?
May 13th, 2010 at 9:44 am
Will – KK looks good some innings and not others. He’s been hanging pitches, fat and over the plate. So location has been an issue for him. He’s also seems too fine at times. Not going after hitters. In other words, inconsistent. We saw it last year, especially in that Hallday game, when he was most aggressive and animated on the mound. Haven’t seen that intensity this year.
May 13th, 2010 at 1:02 pm
In KK’s defense the Braves have scored a combined 11 runs in his 6 starts this year.
May 13th, 2010 at 4:27 pm
Astros swept the Cards in St. Louis. How does that happen?
May 13th, 2010 at 4:31 pm
This month:
Kelly Johnson: 5 for 39 with 13 strikeouts
Adam LaRoche: 4 for 46 with 12 strikeouts

A word that begins with an s and ends with a y with 5 letters in between comes to mind but I’m not saying it. Not until Monday atleast.

I’m sure y’all saw this http://buzztap.com/-15id8y. I love the last Medlen quote, “…once you get past his weirdness…” . Classic.

I have to admit, the Bobby in a zoot suit story made me crack up. Crazy old *******. I love it.
