Even Troy Glaus knows the ABT addage – “winning is more fun than losing”
“We’re playing good, we’re winning games,” Glaus said. “That’s always fun.”

Winning IS more fun than losing. Steve, I just sawed off my friends broom handle so it’s more easily maneuvered. Sucks to be her! Sweeeeeeeep!
McOut, we were screaming, literally, for Bobby to take Venters out. But, alls well that ends well. Sort of, until next time he makes a bone headed move and we lose.

Leah – I need some Twitter 101 help. I have three questions:
1. How did the Braves Organist know about the ABT tweet if he doesn’t follow us (I checked, he doesn’t)?
2. I went to his Twitter feed and saw his tweet that read “@atlbaseballtalk ; – )”. Shouldn’t that have showed up on the ABT feed (maybe not for the general public, but should I see that response?)
3. How did you know about his tweet?

Anybody see the excuse note on the Braves FB site? You can fill in the blanks and turn it in to your boss since you’re feeling poorly and need to get to the game. Signed by “Dr.” Brian McCann. That Braves front office has some time on their hands…

Random Jimmy Caan quote that applies to the 2008 Braves:
Showing up every day isn’t enough. There are a lot of guys who show up every day who shouldn’t have showed up at all.
Good to hear, Mara. I was screaming in my head.

Typical lineup for a RH pitcher. It’s our old nemesis Kyle Kendrick…
June 2nd, 2010 at 10:48 am
And McBenched is back in. Sigh.
June 2nd, 2010 at 11:30 am
Steve, I imagine @bravesorganist either has his account set up to show any comment including the words “Braves Organist” or he does a search post game for that phrase. If you follow him all his comments should show up on your feed. Actually it should show up even if you don’t follow him. It showed up on my feed because i follow him.
McBenched no more:(.

My people are late. They just don’t get it.
June 2nd, 2010 at 11:57 am
Dudes on 790 estimate 30,000+ last night post rain delay and everything. Serious crowd last night. I’m bringing about half that to the game today!
June 2nd, 2010 at 12:04 pm
“Mara” – re #259 – I hear you! If I could be there when the gates open every time, I would be! What IS their collective problem??
June 2nd, 2010 at 1:05 pm
2 Braves games in 24 hours…peeing my pants.
June 2nd, 2010 at 1:18 pm
People around me in last night’s game weren’t nearly as needy as those around me in today’s game. There are not 31,000 people here.
June 2nd, 2010 at 1:29 pm
I so rarely get to listen to the games on radio – loving it. Go Braves!!
June 2nd, 2010 at 1:31 pm
Glaus was robbed right in front of me.

Lowdemort

Why didn’t McBenched try to throw out their catcher at the plate? Unfortunately McBenched isn’t gonna live up to the new name because of Bobby. He said as much in the same interview where he compared his defensive skills to Andruw.
June 2nd, 2010 at 1:57 pm
There’s an article on bleacher report on how our pitching staff is having a better year at the plate than McBenched.
June 2nd, 2010 at 1:59 pm
If you don’t want to read the McOut article I’ll save you some time. Pitching staff .184 AVG, McBenched .179. It also mentions that Hinske has as many hits as McTerrible in half as many ABs. He really is BAD.

Jones and Heap are killing me. Kill-ing-me.
June 2nd, 2010 at 2:10 pm
O Infante…I’m so glad you took over for Chipper!
June 2nd, 2010 at 2:11 pm
Why was Chipper benched (i’m not complaining, just curious because ESPN gametracker only shows that Infante replaced him, and not why). Did he hurt himself hitting into a DB and then striking out?
June 2nd, 2010 at 2:13 pm
He tweaked his ability.
June 2nd, 2010 at 2:14 pm
Sorry, that was DP, for Double Play. Also known as a Twin Killing

Wade: typical hangnail injury, poor guy… (no, not really)
