Could it really be possible that he who is without a name might have actually figured something out? I type this knowing that it means he gets shelled next inning.

Curt
You and Jim Powell and every other braves announcer needs to understand a long held baseball adherence to superstition. WHAT ARE YOU DOING!
June 2nd, 2010 at 2:36 pm
Damn you Curt if that happens.
June 2nd, 2010 at 3:09 pm
Troy Glaus NL Player of the month for May. Way to go Troy. Who would of thought that in April???
June 2nd, 2010 at 3:09 pm
Cledus says hey y’all.
June 2nd, 2010 at 3:20 pm
Ooooooooooooommmmmmaaaarrrrrr!
June 2nd, 2010 at 3:22 pm
Unbelievable.
June 2nd, 2010 at 3:23 pm
Hey, Cledus!!
June 2nd, 2010 at 3:23 pm
C’mon BWags…which is what I assume is about to happen…
June 2nd, 2010 at 3:35 pm
Could you hear the crowd chanting sweep? CRAZY!
June 2nd, 2010 at 3:39 pm
I liked the ‘overrated’ chant.
Anne, what did you say about Omar replacing Chipper?
How sweep it is.
June 2nd, 2010 at 3:44 pm
I said that Chipper injured his hangnail and had to leave the game. I may or may not have been joking.
June 2nd, 2010 at 3:46 pm
So proud of our guys.
June 2nd, 2010 at 3:46 pm
“Inflamed ring finger” sounds ominous. Hooters-ominous…
June 2nd, 2010 at 3:55 pm
Can’t wait to hear y’alls take on Chipper Dorn’s inflamed ring finger on this Sunday’s show. I’m already laughing thinking about. Safe travels Bravos. Two very hot teams playing each other this weekend. Should be another great Braves vs Dodgers series. I just looked at the pitching matchups, and on computer screen it looks like we’re in for some close games. GO BRAVES!

Curt
Didn’t you say in one of the shows that this year’s Braves didn’t have an 8-0 streak in them? I’d have to go back and listen to be sure.
June 2nd, 2010 at 5:07 pm
That sounds like Curt.
June 2nd, 2010 at 5:11 pm
Oh, I think he did, Trabeck
June 2nd, 2010 at 5:25 pm
I remember Bub claiming that he would do “something” if the Braves won 8 in a row. Something memorable. Bub, save us the trouble og going back through the old shows and remind us what that was.
June 2nd, 2010 at 6:21 pm
Hammy, I can’t remember what I said I would do, but to quote Mr. Griswold, I couldn’t be more surprised if I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet.
This run by the Braves is pretty awesome.
June 2nd, 2010 at 6:23 pm
I had to go meet with my Spanish Professor at 2:00, and I was never happier to get a call saying she’d be late. She drove up five seconds after Wags got the last out, so I got the ending on radio.
What a series. Our FOURTH sweep (five if you count Cinci X 2, but I don’t). When’s the last time we swept four teams in the first half?
June 2nd, 2010 at 6:54 pm
Tim Kurkjian said Huddy is the first Braves pitcher to have 9 quality starts out of his first 11. I find that hard to believe when you think of Braves pitchers of past, but I’ll take his word for it because I’m too lazy to look it up. Bleacher Report rated our top 3 prospects as being Teheran, Delgado, and Vizcaino in that order. Freddie Freeman came in 4th and Kimbrel was 5th. Mike Minor was 7th.
June 2nd, 2010 at 7:15 pm
I’m pretty sure Bub agreed to write a bi-weekly blog over the summer. Not sure but that’s what I remember.
June 2nd, 2010 at 7:19 pm
Actually bi-weekly doesn’t make sense. How about one blog entry per series…yeah…that’s what he said. NOW I remember!
June 2nd, 2010 at 7:49 pm
Was that 8?
