Remember how Lowe used to be the luckiest pitcher in MLB?? Not anymore.
May 31st, 2010 at 1:50 pm

Props to the ump for correcting a bad call. Wow, never thought I’d see the day.
May 31st, 2010 at 2:03 pm
Reversed call – lovely and amazing.
Prado says he loves you, too, Leah. Something about beso me mucho…

Joe Simpson on Chipper’s homer: “The old gray mare, she ain’t what she used to be, but she’s still got a trot or two left in her.” Thanks Gameday Highlights. Thanks Joe.

B Mac low flying!
May 31st, 2010 at 2:10 pm
The Phillies are playing like the April version of the Braves.
May 31st, 2010 at 2:11 pm
The radio guys are making it sound like Mac is more than a little gimpy…
May 31st, 2010 at 2:12 pm
ESKY!
May 31st, 2010 at 2:13 pm
I LOVE beating up on the Phils and I love Escobar’s aggressive base running even if he did slide too early.
May 31st, 2010 at 2:14 pm
What in the WORLD is going ON????
Go Braves!
May 31st, 2010 at 2:15 pm
Steve, hell I dunno. Maybe you’re right!
May 31st, 2010 at 2:17 pm
He’s playing hard. The radio guys have been on a Yunel love fest all day, talking about how he is a big team before self guy, which fans usually say the opposite about him. Also talking about how the fans perception of him is what makes him have that hang dog expression. He’s an emotional guy who has probably been through more hard times in 27 years- being a Cuban defector- than any of us could comprehend.
May 31st, 2010 at 2:21 pm
When I lived in Memphis I had a unique opportunity in a community outreach program to meet some Cuban defectors living in Memphis. Really sweet people who have been through a lot to get to America and a lot before they got here, which is why I will always give Yunel the benefit of the doubt. It is a completely different culture, and the flair he plays with is part of it.
May 31st, 2010 at 2:23 pm
Lol, if you think he has flair and is flashy, then I encourage you to get to know a Cuban-born musician. Talk about flair and flash!
May 31st, 2010 at 2:25 pm
Timely hits, reversed calls, costly errors. I love everything about this game so far.
May 31st, 2010 at 2:29 pm
If I were the Phillies right now, I would be completely deflated. Fielders giving up 2 unearned runs, and unable to tag Hanson when he was falling apart. Then Cox comes out to argue, gets the rare reverse, Charlie comes out to argue, gets the heave ho. Braves in a do-no-wrong groove, and Phillies must feel like we’ve felt many, many games.
Lol, on cue, Chipper snags a bullet to save extra bases.
May 31st, 2010 at 2:30 pm
Bubalicious! We’re watching the same game…at the same time! May be the first time this month! If they win today does that mean they have to lose one of the next two? I hope not.
May 31st, 2010 at 2:33 pm
Hanson making them look just plain silly. So that pitch did hit the batter. Did the earlier one hit Dobbs? I couldn’t tell even on the replay.
May 31st, 2010 at 2:34 pm
Does Martin Prado ever not hustle? Watching the highlights, in a 6 run game he still hustles to back up first on Chipper’s Web Gem. I love me some Prado.
May 31st, 2010 at 2:34 pm
Time to score 3 more runs, Bravos. Keep it coming.
May 31st, 2010 at 2:35 pm
Preach it McOut.
May 31st, 2010 at 2:36 pm
That would be nice to see Bud, a lot of the guys could still use a 3 or 4 hit game to pull these AVGs out of the cellar.
