What happened to Saito? Lost the radio feed. Was it arm or leg?
June 4th, 2010 at 1:05 am
Sounds like a hammy, Nate.
June 4th, 2010 at 1:06 am
Nicely done. NINE! 3 ahead!
June 4th, 2010 at 1:06 am
Yikes. Venters with a one pitch save. That’s 9.

First 9 game winning streak in ten years. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. This team’s special…magical…way more fun to watch than any stinkin Rays.
June 4th, 2010 at 1:08 am
Awesome game. Way to go Braves. Great start from Meds. I hope his fam was there to see it. Guy’s a bulldog.
June 4th, 2010 at 1:09 am
Tonight was fun ABT peeps. See ya manana *picture little squiggly thingy above first n*
June 4th, 2010 at 1:10 am
Nate, bulldog is always the term I think of with Kris. It really fits. He comes right at you. And that pick off move to first is just badassed.
GO BRAVOS!
June 4th, 2010 at 1:11 am
19 wins in their last 23 games!!!!
June 4th, 2010 at 1:11 am
I agree, Mara, Rays are playing like poo-poo lately. I like watching the Rays but the Braves are way ahead as my numero uno. I wish we got all the Braves games in TB. Alas, I have to wait for them to play a Florida team to watch.
June 4th, 2010 at 1:14 am
19 of 23 is unbelievable. Had no idea it was that good, but I guess I shouldn’t be surprised with all the series wins and sweeps. I’m liking my original prediction for the week: 7-0. KK will get his first win tomorrow, and then we got H&H over the weekend. Bring It Bravos!
June 4th, 2010 at 1:17 am
Weird how Manny’s play in left ended up costing them the game… Medlen with the win and the game winner!
June 4th, 2010 at 8:58 am
I told you they wouldn’t win 8 in a row.
June 4th, 2010 at 10:43 am
KK is the king of drawing the toughest matchup. I laughed when the radio guys said he should bribe Lowe for his spot in the rotation.

Oh, the drama last night! What a terrific win. So much to feel good about. Moylan, not so much – but a really gutty win. I love that this team is winning them in all kinds of ways. It’s only building more and more confidence. And doing it without Chipper, without Mac hitting. Again, only builds more confidence. 10pm cannot come quickly enough.
June 4th, 2010 at 11:26 am
Mara – no worries on posting the pics. Do it!
June 4th, 2010 at 12:18 pm
10 pm cannot come quickly enough for me either. Are we worried about Moylan? He seems to struggle for a bit and then be lights out again…right? Or is that wishful thinking? Our bullpen is stretched pretty thin without Saito being hurt.
Anne? Cledus? I’ll assume Steve’s “ok” goes for himself and BP Frank…they might as well be family.
June 4th, 2010 at 12:19 pm
I mean 9 pm…nanny nanny boo boo, I get the game an hour before you do.
June 4th, 2010 at 12:35 pm
The bullpen is definitely stretched thin. Losing Saito hurts. No doubt about it. And just got to wait and see on Moylan.
Loved this from DOB’s blog last night:
For the Frank Wren haters check this out:
Player A is hitting .295 with 3 homers and 23 rbi
Player B is hitting .286 with 10 homers and 42 rbi
Player A is Jason Bay and the mets signed him for 66 million for 4 years while Troy Glaus was signed for 1 year 1.75 million.
June 4th, 2010 at 1:31 pm
Stupid Mets.
June 4th, 2010 at 1:34 pm
Wow, that is crazy on Bay and Glaus. I had no idea Bay is getting that much. The Mets should really clean house in their front office. How does Omar Minaya still have a job? There are some bad salaries on that team. 136 M payroll and they’ll probably finish behind the Marlins. The West Coast starting times are killing me.

Maybe we do need our bulldog back in the pen. Did you guys see in DOB’s postgame quotes that Meds said he likes coming out of the pen better. That kind of surprised me, but he’s a gamer and wants to play everyday and help the team. Wren really doesn’t have to do too much in free agency with all these great baseball players the organization is drafting and developing. Troy Glaus is turning out to be a fantastic bargain bin signing.

Thanks for the link Curt. Pretty Cool.
