Curt. Great link. You know, while it’s certainly sexier to write about Heyward, that opening paragraph could have just as easily been written about Prado and what he and the team have done since he moved to the 1 hole on May 15.

Steve is absolutely my favorite host.

Maybe the NL should just let Ubaldo pitch the All-Star game so the Braves have home field advantage in the World Series. Anyone got a lineup for tonight? My guess is the same one we saw last night, but maybe Chipper Dorn will play today. Hats for bats, keep bats warm.

Did anyone see what J.A. Adande’s word to describe the Braves 9-game streak? GLAUSY. Love it.

Prado 4 Infante 5 Heyward 9 Glaus 3 Escobar 6 Cabrera 7 Ross 2 McLouth 8 Kawakami 1

Saito to the DL, Kimbrel called up
June 4th, 2010 at 8:23 pm
For how long, Kate?
June 4th, 2010 at 8:32 pm
They put him on the 15 day DL.
This is from DOB:
Saito said he wouldn’t have been able to pitch for a “few days,” but Bobby Cox said the trainer told him it’d be more like 10 days. So decision was obvious.

Come on Car Keys! Since the gulf coast looks like the belly of an oil freighter I might get to take my son to one of the Braves v Rays games. No beach is a bummer but more live baseball is awesome!

C’mon KK, C’mon kid!
June 4th, 2010 at 10:34 pm
sigh

I am so sick of McOut not even attempting to throw out runners at home. This guy doesn’t know how to play. He bunts with men on with the pitcher hitting behind him. At least make the effort, or let Heyward throw it if you don’t want to.
June 4th, 2010 at 10:57 pm
He did the same thing on Wednesday on a ssharp single with the Phillies catcher running from 2nd. How is he a better at CF than Melky?
June 4th, 2010 at 11:00 pm
Can’t argue with that, funk meister!
June 4th, 2010 at 11:01 pm
Or Shafer?
June 4th, 2010 at 11:02 pm
Cledus, do you care if I publish the picture of you and I at the Ted for all to see?
June 4th, 2010 at 11:06 pm
We stayed in on a Friday so “my lady friend”, as Mara calls them, could watch the Rays and I could listen to the Braves. So far it’s not working out to well for either of us.
June 4th, 2010 at 11:08 pm
Sure, I don’t think it will scare the children, do you?
Esco!
June 4th, 2010 at 11:10 pm
Allright..it’s not like we just gave up 8 runs in 2/3 of an inning, huh? We can do this!
June 4th, 2010 at 11:20 pm
There you go KK.
June 4th, 2010 at 11:22 pm
McOut will probably go yard after I bashed him earlier. He got a double last night after Bub bashed him.
June 4th, 2010 at 11:23 pm
Or he won’t
June 4th, 2010 at 11:24 pm
I’d hate to see the total hits and at-bats figure for McLouth’s combined spring training, April, and May. It’s very few hits out of a lot of at bats, for sure.
Go Braves!
