Mara, I do have to check myself because last week I wrote Yunel sucks after posting a lineup. I would like to say that was in reference to his on-field play and not him as a person.

Heya, Princess!

Weird. All three hitless Braves are left handed, and I think Blanton’s splits are pretty severe.

Everybody having a good Memorial Day?

I still can’t tell one pitch from another. I’m hoping Steve and Co. can teach me a thing or two.

For some unknown reason Don Sutton’s legs were the topic of conversation turing that last inning. I feel weird. Hopefully they get back to baseball next inning.

McOut cannot buy a hit.
May 31st, 2010 at 2:54 pm
In how games has McOut been outhit by our pitcher? It’s gotta be more than 5 at this point…
May 31st, 2010 at 2:55 pm
Don Sutton, “If Prado doesn’t get 2 hits he thinks it’s a bad game.” AWESOME!
May 31st, 2010 at 2:56 pm
Bobby needs to pull a LaRussa and bat McOut 9th.
May 31st, 2010 at 2:58 pm
Anne, it looks like a packed house.
May 31st, 2010 at 2:58 pm
McOut – did you go see the Redbirds play? Pretty field.
May 31st, 2010 at 3:03 pm
It’s pretty darned full, that’s for sure. Woman two seats down wearing 5-inch stilettos. Sigh. “Mara” you are NOT allowed to dress up tomorrow. I wanna see ABT t-shirt, ball cap and tennies. Sandals if you must. (same goes for you, too, Frank!)

Anne, oh yeah. Great place to take in a game. My school’s team got to play there a bit, too. I wasn’t on the team, but I’d go because my roommate was a relief pitcher, and I would jaw at him in the pen from the lawn behind left field. Always a good time…
May 31st, 2010 at 3:07 pm
Unfortunately I missed the Pujols era, which lasted all of 6 games…
May 31st, 2010 at 3:08 pm
Anne, I am a prissy pot for sure. However, when it comes to baseball I’m all about comfort and business. Shorts, ABT tee and flip flops fo’ shizzle. I will have my Braves visor at the ready.
May 31st, 2010 at 3:09 pm
I was only there once for a pre-season negro league commemoration game – Cards vs Injuns.

Kabuki theatre is now the topic of conversation on the radio….

Very cool. Great stadium for a minor league team. Great location, too.
May 31st, 2010 at 3:12 pm
Tommy’s like, “hell I could have done that, Peter…”
Buckle down, Bravos.
May 31st, 2010 at 3:14 pm
4 consecutive doubles. YIKES!
May 31st, 2010 at 3:15 pm
Now would be a good time for a rain shower. Skies doubtful, however. Jonny’ll get ‘em!
May 31st, 2010 at 3:16 pm
Moylan might have had a better performance had he walked onto the mound, pulled his pants down, and then waddled off the field.
May 31st, 2010 at 3:16 pm
Come on Venters. I got very concerned when Joe starting talking about how the Phillies aren’t hitting and how they’ve been shut out 5 times. SHUT THE HELL UP!
