Huddy grounds out. 4 stranded baserunners in 2 innings. ‘Course, with Huddy there’s some excuse.
June 6th, 2010 at 4:36 pm
How does Ely look? Doesn’t sound completely dominate. Are your fingers tired of typing?
June 6th, 2010 at 4:37 pm
Loney grounds out. 1 down in the bottom of the 2nd. 3 ground outs for Huddy thus far, looking good.
June 6th, 2010 at 4:44 pm
I’m on radio, can’t say how Ely looks. But Infante’s hit could have been ruled an error and Prado’s was an infield hit. So we’re not hitting him that hard, except Esco’s out.
I did some scouting on Ely last night and he doesn’t seem like a pitcher who will end the year as well as he’s started it. But who knows. Lots of wins against poor teams, and his original scouting reports from the minors were #5 starter.
Then again, his AA numbers were really great.
Huddy gets a strike out and then Loaf to slow roll for out 3. Some confusion on the field as the umpire lost track of the outs in the inning.
2 innings over. Zero to Zero. Top of the order coming up.
June 6th, 2010 at 4:45 pm
Prado grounds out.
Infante with a base hit. Stretches a single into a double. 1 on, 1 out.
June 6th, 2010 at 4:47 pm
Heyward single in Infante! 1 to 0, good guys.
J Hey on first with 1 out for McCann.

MAN.BEAST.
June 6th, 2010 at 4:49 pm
The Heytrain delivers!
June 6th, 2010 at 4:51 pm
McCann works the count full. Fouls one off. Fouls another off.
(Not tired, but do let me know when you get where you can watch/listen.
Fouls off another. Long at-bat. Wearing another pitcher down. I like it.
McCann fouls out. 2 outs. Glaus is up.
June 6th, 2010 at 4:53 pm
Ely’s pitches look high and hittable on gameday.
June 6th, 2010 at 4:54 pm
Glaus grounds out to Furcal. Going to the bottom of the 3rd, Braves 1, Dodgy team 0
June 6th, 2010 at 4:55 pm
I like the Braves.
June 6th, 2010 at 4:56 pm
Thought I might add a couple random obvious ones to help the ABT folks get over 1000.
June 6th, 2010 at 4:56 pm
#884 made me laugh. Phone is dying and getting dirty looks from Rev and how could you not be tired? Thanks for info.
June 6th, 2010 at 4:59 pm
Strike zone is ass today. Umpires are having a sh*t year. Huddy walks a guy after not getting the strike out call.
But the Braves throw the runner out stealing 2nd… another bad call, but we’ll take it.
June 6th, 2010 at 5:01 pm
Swinging bunt single for Ely. Dodgers’ first hit. Ely’s first major league hit.
June 6th, 2010 at 5:03 pm
Hudson walks Fookie. 2 on, 2 out.
June 6th, 2010 at 5:04 pm
Huddy falls behind Carroll 2-0, comes back to make it 2-2.
June 6th, 2010 at 5:05 pm
Come on Huddy!
June 6th, 2010 at 5:06 pm
Carroll grounds out. Huddy’s doing it today. Swinging bunt by the pitcher is the Dodger’s only hit through three.
June 6th, 2010 at 5:07 pm
That strike zone might be retaliation by the ump against Huddy for Huddy giving the ump a look on a strike call when he was batting. Wouldn’t be the first time an ump has done that.
June 6th, 2010 at 5:09 pm
That’s true enough.
Hinske out on a close bunt hit try.
June 6th, 2010 at 5:10 pm
Yunel stays hot. Solid single. 1 out, Melky up.
June 6th, 2010 at 5:11 pm
Phone-is-dying
June 6th, 2010 at 5:12 pm
Melky hits it solidly, but out. 2 down, Esco at 1st, Hudson up. Huddy flies out to Loafy.
