Phreaking Phillies can score in their sleep. C’mon, Twins. I know it’s a road game, but…
June 19th, 2010 at 5:55 pm
I don’t think the Phillies are ever going to lose again.
June 19th, 2010 at 7:16 pm
Omg! Twins tied it up!
June 19th, 2010 at 7:31 pm
Twins are up by 1!
June 19th, 2010 at 7:44 pm
Now… that is just disgusting. Phils down to their last out and hit another damn homerun. And the top of their order will be due up in the bottom of the 11th. This has walk off written all over it.
C’mon, Twins, do something… sigh … impossible.
June 19th, 2010 at 7:54 pm
I’m not getting a bit excited about that 11th run the Twins just scored. Not with the top of the order due up for the Phillies.
But, PLEASE, hang on, Twins. Phils Phrighten me.
June 19th, 2010 at 7:56 pm
Okay, the 12th and 13th runs by the Twins excite me a little. The Phils fans must be in absolute agony.
June 19th, 2010 at 8:06 pm
Phils lose. Howard K’s swinging to end their last scoring threat.
Now they know how we felt third game of 2009.
June 19th, 2010 at 9:18 pm
Can’t lose on a day when the NL East goes 0-4.
June 19th, 2010 at 9:54 pm
Well, we can.
But we don’t.
Royals, meet.. the Troyals. (worse pun of the decade, and yep, I’m proud)
June 19th, 2010 at 10:13 pm
Wahoo! Great game! I love how this team fights and fights. No way we win that game last year.
I’m having serious troubles with my mlb account. Here’s what’s happening: I’m listening to the game on my phone and all of a sudden it stops and music from my iPod starts playing. I restart the game and it continues to sporadically switch to my iPod (maddening). So I finished my very long 3 mile run and try to watch the game on my phone but it continued to stop. I would push the play button and it would pause again…and again…and again. So I break out the Rev’s mac and try to watch on mlb.tv. I’m watching the game and all of the sudden my iTunes randomly starts playing in addition to the audio and video of mlb. AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! Has this happened to anyone else, ever? Any computer geeks that can come to the rescue?
Bub, I was wondering what Mac’s new caffeine free diet reveals about his condition. Seriously, no wonder he struggled for a bit at the plate. Couldn’t keep his eyes open.

Satisfying win.
June 19th, 2010 at 10:26 pm
Curt…that comment made me laugh out loud. Satisfying? FANTABULOUSLY SATISFYING!
June 19th, 2010 at 10:28 pm
Curt types his comments with his pinky finger raised.
June 19th, 2010 at 10:55 pm
I’m listeing to the mlb gameday archive of the Phillies’ 9th inning.
June 19th, 2010 at 11:02 pm
Walking out of the Ted tonight there were lots and lots of folks breaking into the chant. And 39K in attendance. For the freaking Royals! Nice vibe going on at the home ballpark these days.
June 19th, 2010 at 11:02 pm
Mara, going to see Toy Story 3 tomorrow. Jealous?
(Phillies have a 5 run lead in the 9th. No way they lose this one….)
June 19th, 2010 at 11:04 pm
Bub – I know that the Phillies bats are waking up again. But go look at the box score of today’s Phillies game one more time. Soak in the numbers put up by the Phillies bullpen. It will make you feel better.
June 19th, 2010 at 11:10 pm
Does anyone have any Grey Poupon?
June 19th, 2010 at 11:14 pm
Bub, very.
June 19th, 2010 at 11:32 pm
[passes GP to Curt] Don’t get it on your plaid tie.
Hey, I just realized I was talking… to Mara about tomorrow.
Steve, that sounds awesome. Would love to see the crowds pick up and maybe secure us a deadline acquisition.
Winning run in scoring position with Howard coming up in the bottom of the ninth. Makes me happy to realize he failed twice.
June 19th, 2010 at 11:57 pm
Saw Toy Story 3 today with the oldest kid. Just a wonderful, beautiful film. Really heart warming. Enjoy.
I was pretty excited about the 39k crowd. It’s funny that I almost fear a mid season acquisition as it might screw the chemistry up on the team.
June 20th, 2010 at 12:33 am
Passed a place called Maraville today. Who would stay there? Also passed Andrews Institute. Told him you guys said hello.
June 20th, 2010 at 12:36 am
I can’t think that far – midseason acquisitions, I mean. I worry about tomorrow. Literally. Because Kawakami is pitching. Oh, well – we won the series, at least.
June 20th, 2010 at 12:51 am
Anne, the only antidote for an awful Braves pitcher, is an even more awful ex-Braves pitcher. If you weren’t around for the Kyle Davies era… put on a happy face and get ready to meet Kawakami’s first win.
