Phils and Mets lost. Weird. Two weeks in a row:
KK, Santana, and Halladay all pitch: Braves gain a game on Mets and Phils.
KK, Santana, and Hamels all pitch: Braves gain a game on Mets and Phils
(assuming the Braves hold on here.)
June 26th, 2010 at 7:04 pm
Is KK gonna get a win?
June 26th, 2010 at 7:26 pm
mo. ther. truck. er.
June 26th, 2010 at 7:27 pm
Is Wagner unavailable?
June 26th, 2010 at 7:27 pm
Mara, apparently freaking not.
June 26th, 2010 at 7:29 pm
Can’t listen.
June 26th, 2010 at 7:29 pm
I’m gonna be sick.
June 26th, 2010 at 7:30 pm
This is really astonishing. I’m sick to my stomach
June 26th, 2010 at 7:30 pm
Somebody throw an effing strike.
June 26th, 2010 at 7:31 pm
gift. ill take it.
June 26th, 2010 at 7:32 pm
Terrible call, but we’ll take it. As will KK. A foot outside. Is that Eric Gregg back there?
June 26th, 2010 at 7:32 pm
I lied…I listened. Must we have all the drama? Funny that the final at bat was Damon. *smiles at Bub*
June 26th, 2010 at 7:32 pm
Wow.
Just wow.
June 26th, 2010 at 7:33 pm
So, was Wagner unavailable?……
June 26th, 2010 at 7:39 pm
Waiting for the Wagner injury story. Please don’t let it be.
June 26th, 2010 at 7:42 pm
Hey, you guys get to do another show with the Braves being in first. Good game. Made up for the depressing soccer game earlier. Could of done without all the excitement from the bullpen, but a win is a win. Go Braves.
June 26th, 2010 at 7:43 pm
Yeah, Bub, I was kind of puzzled that he didn’t get to come in there. I didn’t think he had pitched too much of late. Maybe he’s got a little bit of a 400 hangover.
June 26th, 2010 at 8:07 pm
okay, if someone called “bravobubbabrown” can be trusted, Bowman just tweeted that it’s just a sore ankle on Wagner.
June 26th, 2010 at 8:11 pm
Word, hope that ankle is unsore soon. Thanks, Bub.
June 26th, 2010 at 8:14 pm
Confirmed by the Motherblog.
“Wagner’s pitched with a sore ankle for about 10 days, and today it was too sore for him to pitch without changing delivery. He tried to warm up in bottom of 8th after taping it more than usual, but it was too sore.
He got cortisone shot after game, said he could be ready to go by Sunday depending on how it feels when he gets here.”

At least we burned three guys today. Good news is Saito is clearly unavailable tomorrow.
June 26th, 2010 at 9:59 pm
Are we worried about Saito? JJ?
June 26th, 2010 at 10:39 pm
Great re-enactment on Baseball Tonight about the last pitch of the game: Ump poorly positioned to see a low outside pitch, McCann didn’t flip his glove over to tip off where the pitch actually was.
It was a ball, bad call, we won the game. Go Braves!
ps: On a personal note, my Tigers lost to the HATED gamecocks and are out of the CWS. GO BRUINS!!!!
June 26th, 2010 at 11:00 pm
I listened to the game on radio, but I just saw the Moylan strikeout on BBT. If I were a Tigers fan I would be a little bit upset on that one. It’s about time we get a gift call like that, though. It almost makes up for one of the Bill Hahn atrocities from last year. Mara, I’m a little worried about Saito. I hope it’s just a case of him needing more innings to get back to where he was before he got hurt.

Anytime one’s team loses to South Cackalacky it’s tough. Hang in there man.
