Did I mention I’m tired? *sigh*

“Mara,” yes, but they gave him MORE grief for that pop-out. 12 is it for me. Going home. Wake me when it’s over.

Just got back from watching the game with Will-son and his bro. It was cool to be out and have so many people at a sports bar be so into the game – good and bad for tonight’s. But definitely a different vibe in the city than the last few years. Now we just need to win this game.
Oswalt wants his option for next year guaranteed before he will agree to a trade and the Phils are apparently not interested in that.

Hopefully the Mets score holds and we don’t lose ground. That was a gut puncher.

Win some lose some. I miss Blanco.

Buenos Dias ABT, Los Mets lost. It’s all good. Go Braves!
July 22nd, 2010 at 9:26 am
It’ll all be better if we win tonight.

Thursday Day Game-goers: Stop by and wave at me: Section 211, Row 2. Me, the Boyfriend, his daughter. …and sunscreen. Go Braves!!

The Mets are trying to trade Frenchy.

#85 makes me happy…and sad.
In other news (literally)

…are you kidding me?? “Wait, Wait…” last weekend had a quote from someone about Steinbrenner, something like: if you got a phone call in the middle of the night, you knew it was him, or a death in the family. After a while, you hoped for a death in the family.

Anne, I’ll be the guy with 35 kids in section 401. Hopefully there is shade up there. And beer.
July 22nd, 2010 at 10:38 am
Laughing at the mental image of Curt buying beer in between bathroom breaks.
July 22nd, 2010 at 10:39 am
Oh, right…you’re a very brave man, Curt. I can 99.9% guarantee beer…which will certainly make it all better. Tell them all – OK, the boys – to take off their shirts and wave ‘em when the camera comes ’round.

I think it’s always good to lead by example. Don’t forget the chest paint.

Pretty cool article.

Odd…there are literally 7 cars in the Orange Lot.
July 22nd, 2010 at 11:39 am
BP must be inside today…only the bullpen is playing catch on the field. That, or they’re taking a team nap to recover from last night. Ew, now I’m imagining spooning. You’re welcome, ABT.
July 22nd, 2010 at 12:09 pm
FYI – noon is not too early for beer (Curt – change it to 100 percent guarantee) …but it IS too early to SPILL your beer.
July 22nd, 2010 at 1:28 pm
Or your jumbo coke in your lap.
July 22nd, 2010 at 1:41 pm
Mmmmmm…spooning. Go Braves! Huddy sounds awesome!
July 22nd, 2010 at 1:42 pm
Mmmmmm…spooning. Go Braves! Huddy sounds awesome! We should place bets on how many potty trips Curt has to make. I say 13.
July 22nd, 2010 at 2:27 pm
Hey, did y’all know trying to stop a comment so you can add to it is futile?
July 22nd, 2010 at 2:50 pm
Curt, Don just said he’s glad you and your crew are there. His favorite day at the park. Now don’t you feel better?
July 22nd, 2010 at 3:42 pm
I do. Our crew left at 2:40 because that was about all the kids (and the adults) could take. Only one bathroom break + one ice cream run + three demands that the kids stop kicking the guy in front of us. A fun and entertaining day at the park. And thankfully the woman who runs the group is a Braves fan so we had pretty good seats in the shade.
