Let’s see Wagner blow this.
Wait . . .

Curt – good for you to get out of the sun. We made it to the pitching change in the 7th…I think it was the 7th…heatstroke prevents me from remembering what happened two hours ago. Turns out we missed nothing.
Great game… Go Braves Road Trip!!
July 22nd, 2010 at 6:31 pm
Oswalt to Cards? Carpenter, Wainwright, and Oswalt in a short series… that would suck.
July 22nd, 2010 at 6:37 pm
Nate – that is an ominous proposition. Time to start cheering for the Reds.
I think it has been a while since it has been said, but I LOVE WINNING BASEBALL. There is so much to like about this team.

ham, agreed. it was awesome for the guys to come out and stick it to the padres after last night. where is all this money coming from in the ‘lou? they had to sign holliday last offseason, they need to resign el hombre after this year, and now they’re talking about adding oswalt???

Guess who’s gonna be at Nationals Park next Tuesday night? The Rev is the bomb.
July 22nd, 2010 at 7:14 pm
“Mara” – as I’m sure you (and everybody else) can recall…I LOVE the Nationals Park. It’s just lovely. AND, much like where the Marlins play, you should have your pick of seats!
July 22nd, 2010 at 7:25 pm
Oh good. I hope the ushers are as nice as Alan and let us break all the rules. Don’t forget to drink plenty of liquids Anne with an e.
July 22nd, 2010 at 8:10 pm
Very, very nice to take care of business today. Mara – re your #75 – I was screaming at the TV. After all the time gone and all the scrutiny on his game, he’s going to STILL pull that no throwing the ball crap?!?!? Unbelievable.
July 22nd, 2010 at 10:12 pm
I did another song. I feel bad already, get it while it’s… whatever.

Bub – I love it.
July 22nd, 2010 at 11:09 pm
Hi-lar-ious Bub!
Anne, what am I thinking…Strasburg is the scheduled pitcher so it will be packed.
Steve, just saw Cyrus. Very clever.
July 22nd, 2010 at 11:15 pm
Bub, that was strong to quite strong. Mara, thanks for the SI Bobby link. It was a good read.
July 22nd, 2010 at 11:31 pm
Btw, time to bring back the Glaus ceiling…it worked last time. Rather it worked when you threatened to axe it. So bring it back quick and then axe it.
Nate, my favorite part was how he met his second wife.
July 23rd, 2010 at 10:21 am
Welcome to third place, Mets.
July 23rd, 2010 at 5:25 pm
One more YE piece.
Funniest thing I have heard so far was on ESPN (I think subbing for Mike & Mike or on Mike & Mike), Buster talk about how when Gonzo came into the locker room for the first time, the Brave’s players gave him a STANDING OVATION!!!
Actions speak louder than words…
OBTW – it is “Eat your cake and have it too”. You can’t eat it and still have it… You CAN have it and then eat it…

As for nicknames: How about McLouthy
July 23rd, 2010 at 6:09 pm
I just got home from work to realize we’re playing in FLA, so I get to watch. I hope the weather in Miami is better than it is here in TB. Mark, I saw that from Olney last week and thought it was pretty cool. Judging from post game quotes over the past week, Escobar was liked by none. His character traits are the reason he was only given a half season to slump while players like Frenchy are given much longer. I would love to see the good vibes in the clubhouse translate into more consistent play. We had two great games in the Padres series. I’m not going to forget that we split a series with a team that almost got swept by the Pirates this week. Go Braves!
July 23rd, 2010 at 6:10 pm
I’m sticking with McOut, and he is playing tonight. Maybe he gets some solid hits and attempts to throw runners out…
July 23rd, 2010 at 7:28 pm
UGGGGGGGGGG-la. He kills us.
July 23rd, 2010 at 7:31 pm
Lowedemort kills us too.
July 23rd, 2010 at 7:35 pm
I saw on FSMarlins that Cody Ross and Dan Uggla’s pregame routine includes smacking each other on the ass (not uncommon for ballplayers), which is then followed by kissing each other on the cheek… is this weird to anyone else? Oh great, a double McOut.
July 23rd, 2010 at 8:24 pm
This game is frustrating. Lowe seems to be picking himself up and brushing himself off.
July 23rd, 2010 at 8:38 pm
MVPrado!
July 23rd, 2010 at 8:53 pm
Nate, is it weird that we do the same thing before every show?
