Curt, #173, absolutely. I’d throw Chip in that discussion, too. Walks and singles from the 3-hole is not enough. Mac is heating up, but our 3,5, and 6 are just not doing much of anything right now, unless a lefty is pitching and Diaz plays.

I think McLouth has got to be pulled from this lineup. It’s a disservice to guys who produced while he was out. I understand you shouldn’t lose your job due to an injury. You should, however, lose your job due to to the fact that you suck.
To not be riding Diaz right now is a joke.

Curt, on the Diaz thing, the Marlins’ announcers have been saying that for the last two games. They are loving the fact that Cox is, for some reason, refusing to play a guy who is hitting .381 with 8 hr and 52 RBI against the Fish.

Love me some Brooksy! I also may or may not be in love with the Marlin’s bullpen. I also love how Prado husseled to 3rd even though the team was leading by 4. McSucks needs to go to AAA.

Mara, you should love the Fish pen. Their ERA against the Braves was over 8 before the Conrad Slam. The error by Cantu definitely hid the questionable call to have Gonzo sacrifice in front of McTerrible.

How about Uggla at 2nd and Prado in the outfield? I would feel a bit hesitant to change anything for Prado, as well as he is hitting for us…
