Per Ken Rosenthal Source: #Braves still on Ross, two other teams “coming hard.” #Marlins’ willingness to move him still in question. Would need big offer #MLB
Do we buy it?

Nevermind.

Fat Elvis wears pinstripes.
July 30th, 2010 at 6:26 pm
So…whose left to play the Phillies this weekend and why couldn’t we have played the Nats after the trade deadline?
July 30th, 2010 at 6:48 pm
So, do you demand your money back if you’re an Astros’ season ticket holder? The NL Central is a joke.
July 30th, 2010 at 6:53 pm
Any word on Gonzo’s illness?
July 30th, 2010 at 7:24 pm
Glaus completely sucks again.
July 30th, 2010 at 7:26 pm
Dude needs a rest badly. My knees hurt watching him “run”.
July 30th, 2010 at 7:33 pm
The 5.4 ERA righty that was scheduled to pitch against Atlanta before they replaced him with Olsen is pitching against the Phillies. I swear I believe the baseball gods are trying to teach the Braves some kind of lesson.
Oswalt looks hittable from my chair.

What goes around comes around. The Yankees getting Bergman makes me want to punch somebody.
July 30th, 2010 at 7:45 pm
Good FW traded Mitch Jones for money. Cause, ya know, that’s what we need. Please be shopping!!!!!!!
July 30th, 2010 at 7:48 pm
Prado, that was artful. Just beautiful!
July 30th, 2010 at 7:49 pm
Yeah, the Yankees needed a bat, didn’t they? It is very hard in baseball to buy a championship because of the 5 and 7 game formats. But they might pull it off. If they bang out 3 or 4 in a row, I will definitely, seriously, no kidding around, find some other way to spend 162 days a year.
HOW are the Nationals missing these fat pitches from Oswalt? I know they have three runs, but these are grapefruits he’s throwing. Maybe there’s more movement on them that you can see on gameday.
July 30th, 2010 at 7:53 pm
First baseman please.
July 30th, 2010 at 7:54 pm
Adam Dunn please.
July 30th, 2010 at 7:55 pm
Crash for cash.
July 30th, 2010 at 7:55 pm
If Glaus goes on the DL can Freddie Freeman come up? Would he be ready? I don’t so much understand how these things work.
July 30th, 2010 at 7:56 pm
I love how Martin had to get a new jersey after the slide. Meds is killing it.
July 30th, 2010 at 7:59 pm
Phils’ bats struggling against Flowermanhood through 4.
July 30th, 2010 at 8:03 pm
I take it back. Meds is not killing it! I’m really tired of the Baseball gods.
July 30th, 2010 at 8:05 pm
Can we have Votto?
July 30th, 2010 at 8:06 pm
Come on Meds…let’s try to make it interesting.
July 30th, 2010 at 8:11 pm
Mara, I would be very surprised if Freeman gets the call. He’s doing great, but not “Heyward Great.” And he’s 20 years old. It would be very risky.
I want it, though.
July 30th, 2010 at 8:12 pm
Gonzo’s been hospitalized for gastritis. Sure hope EOF didn’t share his germs. Now DOB says Jones is traded for a player to be named.
July 30th, 2010 at 8:15 pm
Has anybody else noticed that Medlen doesn’t have any eyebrows?
