Can’t really fault Venters, or even Bobby for going with him (get well, EOF). No qualms with out pitchers tonight in this ballpark.
Just, MAN, these hitters are killing me. It can really avalanche, too, once they start thinking about not hitting with RISP.
I still smell a win, though.

Mike Minor lowers his ERA to 1.99 with Gwinnett, pitching 7 innings of ONE hit ball, 8 K’s, ZERO walks. He’s 4-1 since his promotion.
Steve, to answer a delayed question, this is why I’d rather lose Meds than Minor. Especially in this division, I do NOT want to be facing Mike Minor. He’s going to be a serious #3 pitcher. Nothing against Meds, who I think is a serious #4. I just love Minor.
Freeman with a pair of hits, too, to pump his BA to .295, though his OPS is even greater at .854, way to go, Freddie. Kid is 20 years old.
