Braves, you need to wake up. The pitches will not come to you – you need to go get that pitch and figure out how to turn it into a hit. Maybe you don’t realize, that if you continue to play like this, you WILL finish in 4th place.

Ugh, good game to sleep through.
I can’t appreciate the frustrations properly not having sat through what must have been an excruciating game, so this might not properly cover it, but:
1. Very nice to see Tommy shut down that offense in that park,
2. Braves lost a series on the road to a great team, and
3. We all knew a stretch like this would come.
Yuck, Phillies just went ahead by a run. Ugh, but two runs. Crap, looking at 2.5 game lead unless they put Lidge in…
The Braves should recover at home, and will have to improve next road trip or else…
My dad, who by the way is so well recovered that he actually started back to work (he’s crazy) two weeks ago, just called, and is (probably) taking me to a Braves game the week before school starts back. Considering a lot of things I’ll spare you from, I’ll just say that would be pretty special. He said he thinks it would be the Dodgers, but I haven’t looked it up yet.
