Love the title. Listening to the show while running errands with my very special sister makes me hesitant to comment. I’m not good at lestening to two conversations at one time. I do remember Curt saying something about not being as pessimistic as Hammy so…heh, that tells you how well I was listening. I clearly remember Hammy lamenting the loss of Prado and how it might ruin our run (you wil NEVER live it down). So the road trip was bad, very bad. But I DO find minimal comfort in the GNats almost sweeping the Phillies. Obviously they are on a roll. I was very disappointed in Ankiel but it’s one game. Troy is a power hitter and aren’t they natorious for being streaky? Maybe the professor can see how streaky his fab 2008 run was. Heyward’s clutch double was encouraging. All of that to say, Mrs. Mary Sunshine feels hesitant yet hopeful. Make sense?

What do you think Kate? Can we hold our fragile lead during the homestand?

Good show guys. Very humorous in a time of despair.
2 Things on tonight’s lineup: Bravo for the shuffle, Bobby, but why is Ankiel playing against a lefty? Why, if he is playing, is he hitting in front of Ross? Just a couple thoughts…
Is this the dawn of seeing Rick Ankiel play more than he should?

Apparently Bobby doesn’t get the data showing Ankiel hitting .180 against lefties.
And yes, I think we are going to see a lot of the Rickster

Bobby is really putting the power of home field advantage to the test with that lineup. At least we have Huddy going.

SO looking forward to having the boys home tonight. Seems like an excellent time to break out my Diaz shirt. No rain no rain no rain.

Who has more K’s tonight, Ankiel or Francoeur?

Suddenly I can’t breathe…
Prado is going on the DL. Prado just met with Bobby Cox and the decision was made.

Precautionary. Just so they can fill his roster spot. Diory Hernandez, hello.

Johan Santana has nightmares about Matt Diaz.
August 2nd, 2010 at 7:28 pm
Anne, how’d your boy look with that double?
August 2nd, 2010 at 7:34 pm
I love the taste of crow.
August 2nd, 2010 at 7:40 pm
Like I’ve always said…I hope we acquire Ankiel and play him against lefties.
August 2nd, 2010 at 7:44 pm
Shake it off Huddy.
August 2nd, 2010 at 7:45 pm
ANNE! Talk to me! Somebody get Santana some super glue.
August 2nd, 2010 at 7:56 pm
Did we just leave our pitcher stranded on base the entire inning after his extra base hit?
August 2nd, 2010 at 8:02 pm
Hey-I’m here but with a friend who chats during games. Imagine!! Diaz looks great and speakin’ as a girl…so does Ankiel. Happy crowd here.
August 2nd, 2010 at 8:10 pm
Shut-up! Troy just hit the ball out of the outfield!
August 2nd, 2010 at 8:53 pm
Wow…lots of pitches. Anne, go punch the lady with the “Welcome Home Frenchy” sign. Thanks.
EOF with Mono. Isn’t that pretty contagious? Nobody kiss Eric alright?

3 wasted leadoff doubles… why? WHY?
August 2nd, 2010 at 9:19 pm
Ankiel is spitting on comment #4.
They wasted no time getting Escobar’s former number on a different player. I hope Diory has better luck with it.
