That was just an awful game. Just awful. If Bobby pulls his “tough loss” manure, I am going to fly to Atlanta and punch Curt. So many horrible moments . . . Hinske swinging at all of those pitches with the bases loaded and Dickey just walked the last two batters . . . Gonzalez trying to steal (he has ONE stolen base this season) . . . Wagner’s stupid pitch to Frenchy.
Ignominious. Maybe the worst loss of the season. So angry.

And why the hell do you pinch hit Glaus? He’s a DP waiting to happen. 0-8 RISP. Just terrible. Worst of the season. We might lose this series. Pelfrey has begged us to hammer him this year and we refuse to do it. 4-6 against the hapless Mets.

Wait…Bobby pinch hit Glaus? Good night to have a coffee date. Sucky loss. Bubdylan, you’re new found hatred of the Mets is cracking me up but I’m VERY glad to see it. Keep walking toward the light. Did Wagner struggle or just throw one very bad god awful pitch?

It wasn’t a bad pitch, and Frenchy doesn’t hit it out if he sees it 1000 other times, but why even throw him a fastball. throw him breaking balls down and away and make him lay off of them.

And Troy Glaus is full of sh*t. He’s lying through his teeth saying his knees and feet are the same as they’ve been all year and that it’s just his timing. His limp is 5 times worse than it was. This crap about straight lying and saying you’re not injured when you are … what IS THAT? I swear I’ll never complain about Chipper benching himself with injuries again. I mean, Troy could not be any more obviously in terrible pain. The limbless knight with “only a flesh wound” comes to mind.

Bub, you might get your wish soon. Bowman and DOB were tweeting a good bit last night about the possibility of Freeman getting called up sooner, rather than later. maybe Troy finds himself on the DL and they give it a 15 day test run.

So, I decided on significant internet silence while in NYC these last few days celebrating my wife’s. But I did check the score when we got out of Promises, Promises last night. BUT, I had no idea of the details until this morning in the cab to the airport. It really added insult to injury hearing it from a New Yorker. I think I’m most upset about pinch hitting Glaus. C’mon, Bobby. You had to put him in because he’s been so clutch?!?! Can’t wait to hear the show.
