It sucks and the ball is bouncing their way. The Braves need to right their own ship and start taking advantage of the opportunities they are given in each game. This RISP thing is agonizing. And you better get it figured out quick because the Phillies are at home for the next two weeks. They don’t figure to lose a bunch of ground there.
The Braves were 0-for-6 with runners in scoring position Thursday and 1-for-23 in their past three games. They have scored 11 runs the past two nights (both wins) despite just one hit with a runner in scoring position, and they are are 7-for-63 in those situations in their past six games.
