sigh.

Hanson can’t buy a win.
August 11th, 2010 at 4:32 pm
Brutal. Can we not just leave Venters out there? Bub, check and see what Wagner does on the 2nd day of a back-to-back.
August 11th, 2010 at 4:42 pm
Curt, believe it or not, only 4 of his 7 blown saves came on 2nd day of back-to-back, and on none of those was he on a 3rd straight day.
Before yesterday, he hadn’t pitched since the 7th. Seems like he should be able to handle that.
August 11th, 2010 at 4:42 pm
Guess I could do that

Yessir, Omar. Yessir.

Omar!

AHHHHHHH!!!! Glad we scored but why is Ankiel watching the play instead of ducking his head and booking it home! It wasn’t close but it coulda been. Drives me crazy.
August 11th, 2010 at 4:49 pm
He thought it was a homer. Escobar-level dumbness. Team needs its head out of its ass.
Luckily we can’t lose for winning right now.
August 11th, 2010 at 4:50 pm
p.s. he has to watch the play with only 1 out, but he did it wrong.
August 11th, 2010 at 4:52 pm
Or he should just hit a homer so he can trot and look every which a way as he runs the bases. Thanks MAC!!
August 11th, 2010 at 4:53 pm
that helps.
August 11th, 2010 at 4:58 pm
Wagner just wanted the win

Man, what a series. Blown saves, blown leads, errors all over the place, Chipper down, Prado down, Heyward down… how in the world did we get out of there with 2 wins?
Well, we’re owed that one from a couple series we should have swept, I guess.
Eat it, Phils.

“he has to watch the play with only 1 out, but he did it wrong”…trying to understand. He was trying to see if he should have stopped at 3rd? Not being sarcastic…I’m sure it seems simple to most…I’m still learning.
August 11th, 2010 at 6:36 pm
Well, I just mean he had to at least check it out long enough to make sure it wasn’t caught. Can’t go head-down sprint from 2nd on a fly ball unless there are two outs.

Any of you parental types fans of Spongebob? I like the first two seasons. By like, I mean own on DVD and watch every night to fall asleep happy. I think those two seasons are genuinely witty and fun.

Over their last 5 starts (each), Hudson/Hanson/Jurrjens have allowed a total of 27 earned runs in 103.0 innings. (2.35 ERA)
Halladay/Oswalt/Hamels have allowed 35 in 100.1 (3.14 ERA)
I’m surprised the Braves starters have outlasted the Phillies starters.
And by the way, that includes Hudson’s 6 run season-worst game. Remove that outing and the ERA of the trio over their last 14 total starts drops to 1.94!!!

My sons are huge Spongebob fans. It has its moments. It can be really irritating at times. He likes to yell a lot.
August 11th, 2010 at 8:57 pm
Oh ok. I thought he looked over his shoulder after he rounded 3rd. I was very excited at the time so my memory is fuzzy.

I miss Cledus and Wiley. And that dude I thought was a chick…what was his name? Where DO these people go?
August 11th, 2010 at 11:34 pm
Yeah, me, too. And Ham should write more.

Okay, what is up with this. I played Wizard of Oz DVD on my laptop while I was cleaning the kitchen and then when I was done and went to google to look something up, my Google was all decked out in Wizard of Oz decor.
Is everybody else’s Google all Wiz’d up, too, and it’s just a weird coincidence? Or is my privacy being invaded?

freaky, my google has Wiz Oz photo
