What a weird and wonderful slow motion win with the replay. And the drama of the ump coming back out, smiling, pointing at Mac and then signaling homer. What a win. If that game 3 in Colorado was possibly the end of the season, then today is possibly the total resurrection of it. Joy, joy, and more joy.

For those that don’t have the local TV feed, they interviewed Mac after the game. He was asked what he was thinking while standing on 2nd. He said he knew it was a homer because of how it sounded. Said the ball doesn’t sound like that when it hits the yellow pad at the top of the wall. Fascinating stuff. I really have chills about this one.
