Mets…
August 31st, 2010 at 8:48 pm
Mara, your #74 – very funny.
I’m not to visit Anne anymore. During the visit, the Mets score two. Back in the press box, the Braves get them back. Clearly, it was ALL her fault. But, I’ll be a gentlemen, take the high road and say that is was only MOSTLY her fault.

Snitker should have sent Heyward on Prado’s single. He should not have sent Prado on the Gonz’s single. Ugh.
August 31st, 2010 at 8:57 pm
Why is Niese still pitching?
August 31st, 2010 at 9:00 pm
Steve, How does the press box NOT go crazy after a GRAND SLAM!!!! Do they golf clap or anything?
August 31st, 2010 at 9:02 pm
Wahoo! I love beating up on the Mets!!!
August 31st, 2010 at 9:05 pm
I know Mara, it’s weird. There’s really no reaction what so ever.
August 31st, 2010 at 9:05 pm
Ach…Nate in CF equals at least a run or two.
August 31st, 2010 at 9:07 pm
Steve, I will pay you a brand new ABT t-shirt if you will throw your hands up in the air and perform a silent scream the next time the Braves get a hit.
August 31st, 2010 at 9:07 pm
Steve – is there a dress code for the press box? Like, collared shirt, no jeans…stuff like that?
August 31st, 2010 at 9:08 pm
Go Dodgers!
August 31st, 2010 at 9:25 pm
“Mara” you couldn’t see it, But Steve got the Press Box to hold hands, sway, and sing Take Me Out to the Ballgame. Mesmerizing.
August 31st, 2010 at 9:33 pm
Good job Steve…so proud.
August 31st, 2010 at 9:40 pm
Wow . . . it’s good to have McOut back.
August 31st, 2010 at 9:40 pm
Shout-out for the Mets first base coach Razor Shines. He’s no Rusty Kuntz, then again…who is?
August 31st, 2010 at 9:44 pm
Mara, there doesn’t seem to be a dress code. It runs from mostly golf shirt and khakis or jeans to a little nicer. But there’s a lot of shirts in need of an iron in here.

Alan tells me that 10/2, aka Bobby Cox Appreciation Night, is sold out AND they have a plan in place for 500 SRO tix to be available day-of. A nice send-off, I think.
August 31st, 2010 at 10:00 pm
Another heartening win, folks. Heyward look unstoppable again. And Derrek Lee looks like he’s starting to catch up to fast balls.
August 31st, 2010 at 11:01 pm
Thanks for nothing Dodgers.
August 31st, 2010 at 11:12 pm
Freddie Freeman is heading down 85 as we speak
August 31st, 2010 at 11:13 pm
Braves have allowed the fewest runs in the NL East. By 21!
And scored the most runs in the NL East. By 36!!
… and have the best run differential. By 61!!!
It’s almost as if they’re good.
August 31st, 2010 at 11:14 pm
Freeman get called up, Curt?
August 31st, 2010 at 11:35 pm
Y yes Bub…he did. I used my manly voice while typing that.
August 31st, 2010 at 11:37 pm

With his 0-2 last night, McOut’s average is now down to .166. Wouldn’t it have been better to call up another outfielder who actually hits. Now we have McOut and Ankiel. Together they almost make a whole baseball player. Now we will see puzzling moves like putting in McLouth instead of Ankiel for defensive purposes., when we all know by now that Ankiel is much better than McOut at CF and Baseball in general. In spite of the third coming of McOut, last night was a very “heartening win”, as V-I-Steve pointed out.
