We have arrived at the perfect moment for me to say goodbye to baseball. The Braves are on top, staring at the playoffs. Hudson’s shining. The Ted is full. I’m happier with my team than I’ve been in weeks. The baseball sun is shining again!
But I hate this sport. I really do. I know it’s weird, but I’M weird. And this has been a long time coming. And I’ll hate myself if I try to break off the relationship when we’re struggling again. I want to remember “her” fondly. Beating the Phillies, full of renewed hope and promise.
This offensive inning is my last with the sport. I’m gonna soak it in.

Hallelujah. So happy. So happy. So happy. Now lets just get in outright this evening. I want nothing to do with a 1 game playoff. Not that I’d feel worried with Lowe going, but the team could so use the rest and allow to set up the starting 3 of Lowe, Hanson, Huddy. C’mon Giants.

I had a very touching moment with a die hard Giants fan tonight as we listened to the last at bat. We jumped up and down. We high fived. I no longer wish I were Bub.
