But steve, he knows now that the guy blew the call last night, and now blew the call tonight. It’s a chance to get some payback. 2 birds with 1 stone
October 8th, 2010 at 10:19 pm
Did he blow the call tonight? I was going off what Powell and Sutton were saying, that the umpire got the call right.
October 8th, 2010 at 10:43 pm
Curt – I totally get that last night’s call was part of the equation in his argument tonight. I was just arguing the assertion (that I read) that his decision to argue was only about last night.
Bub – it certainly looked like his foot was off the bag when he caught it.
By the way, here we are again talking about blown calls because the Braves can’t score a freaking run. Now I get to watch another team celebrate on our field again. I’m dreading it already.

Rally!
October 8th, 2010 at 10:58 pm
It is really time for a big post season moment from Heyward here. Pivotal moment in the game right here.
October 8th, 2010 at 11:00 pm
That was not it. Good Lord.
October 8th, 2010 at 11:01 pm
There it was. Joining an illustrious list
October 8th, 2010 at 11:12 pm
I did assume the ejection was all because of last night based on Jim Powell’s assertion that the call was right. I reckon I presumed a lot. My bust.
October 8th, 2010 at 11:15 pm
What’s that skinny thingy by the Braves’ name on the scoreboard? It’s like 2/3 of the circle fell off.
October 8th, 2010 at 11:15 pm
Hallelujah. At least there won’t be stories about being shut out for the entire series.
October 8th, 2010 at 11:18 pm
melky-conrad-gonzalez-ankiel-pitcher?
Wow. I had no idea it had come to this.
October 8th, 2010 at 11:23 pm
Really, really, really, REALLY could have used more runs there.
October 8th, 2010 at 11:38 pm
Ankiel never saw a high, 2 strike fastball that he didn’t love (or miss). Tally so far this season: 816.
October 8th, 2010 at 11:45 pm
Very questionable strike three there on Heyward. Looked outside. UGGGGGHHHH.

Giants bullpen brought to you by al Qaeda
October 9th, 2010 at 12:03 am
Two runners on!? NOBODY OUT!? AND- Melky up to bat…
October 9th, 2010 at 12:05 am
Adam – it is unfortunate that this rally has brought us to the half of our lineup that can’t hit.
But, that said, I’m stupidly hopeful right now.
October 9th, 2010 at 12:06 am
What’d I miss?
October 9th, 2010 at 12:07 am
Melky with a miracle right there!
October 9th, 2010 at 12:07 am
See if we can build on finally getting a break here.
October 9th, 2010 at 12:09 am
OH! MY! GOD!
October 9th, 2010 at 12:10 am
I don’t know what y’all have been complaining about…:)
October 9th, 2010 at 12:10 am
I am delirious right now.
October 9th, 2010 at 12:13 am
I’ve never noticed what big feet Diaz has.
October 9th, 2010 at 12:15 am
Brand new ballgame!
