   Anybody notice the year Charlie Morton had in P-burgh? 2-12, 7+ERA, and the awfullest WHIP I’ve seen on a full year of starting in quite some time: 1.73

   I hate it. That’s most I’ve ever wanted to see a traded pitcher succeed, especially since … what harm could he do in Pittsburgh?

   Curt – I will tell you that my wife thought Despicable Me was utterly fantastic. So I’ll give you that and concede that Megamind may have paled in comparison. But you’re still a monster.

    Leah – definitely. In fact, we removed all electrical cords, belts and bed sheets from Anne’s house last weekend.

    I thought Megamind was great. First movie that my entire family sat through from beginning to end (maybe that added to why I loved it). Didn’t see Despicable Me. Also saw Tangled this weekend . . . it was . . . a movie. My kids loved it.

    Is anyone watching the Walking Dead? It is amazing. Best show on TV. You have to like zombie movies to enjoy it. Takes place in and around Atlanta. I could not recommend it more. Do not let your kids watch it.

    Ham, I keep trying to remind myself about Walking Dead, and so many people have told me about it, and I keep forgetting. Shame on me.

    Walking Dead? Is that another name for Lost? I don’t do zombies. Vampires and witches, yes. Zombies, not since they invaded Longbourn and Pemberly.

    KK’s reactions to Atlanta’s attempts to send him back to Japan, while they are on the very mild end of the sports ego spectrum, make me reconsider the moral golden boy status I previously endowed(sp?) him with.

    C’mon, Kenshin, you made a ton of dough here, go and pitch where you are very good at it.

    Dammit, dammit, dammit. I can’t believe Diaz is really, seriously going to be gone. I’m physically ill. This hurts almost as bad as the Conrad grounder. Has he really out-stayed his value? I just don’t see it. Gosh, what a freaking loss.

    Seriously, Matt Diaz will be the Wes Helms of the future if he’s sent to a team in the NL East.

    Anyone seen the Road? It’s a Cormac McCarthy book they made into a movie with Viggo Mortensen? Really good, but GRIM. Wow.
