The Avett Brothers are coming to Tuscaloosa. I have info on pre ticket sales if anyone wants it. Curt, you’re crazy if you don’t take your wife. Although they end up in Atl usually once a year.

Leah – agreed on Conrad article. A co-worker walked up to my gullible self this morning to say I should check out the article and that Brooks was giving up on baseball and moving to Cuba.
In other news, I texted Alan, “my” Usher from last season to say hi and see if he knew where he’d be this season. I got the three most disappointing words in the english language in return: “Who is this??” I straightened him out. He knows who I am but didn’t save my number. How soon they forget.

Love the article by brave in New York. I’m glad somebody else is seeing things my way with McLouth. He has nowhere to go but up. Contract year And believe we should expect improvement.

The Conrad article was a heartbreaker. What percentage do you put his chances at making the 25 man roster? I’d say 10%.

I’ll definitely take that low water mark because I’m thinking more like .280/ 20hr/ 70-80rbi. And 20 steals to top that. Roughly.

We’ll split the difference. .270/15 hr/70 rbi. I’ll even give you 2 out 3 because he ain’t coming close to any of them.
Mind you last year was .190/6/24 with 7 sb. just awful. Where have you gone Melky Cabrera?

That’s a very optimistic prediction Brandon.
The best year of his career he hit .276/26 HR/94 RBI/23 SB.
His career average is .252/19 HR/63 RBI/21 SB.
I would be happy if he could just get back to his career average.

yea I know its totally optimistic but he is NO melky and I can’t stress that enough I hated that pick up when they made he is no more than a 4th outfielder at best. McLouths form is his 08 & 09 numbers.

There may be one drawback to that dinner thing though Curt. As much as I would love to sit and talk baseball in general and the Braves. I live in northern WV. I try to make as many pirate philly and nationals games I can. I assume you are in GA. The Navy brought me up here from B’ham.
