I don’t know how Conrad is gonna get over this funk. It reminds me of how a catcher can loose the ability to throw back to the mound. It’s hard not to root for him.
Right said FF for ROY?
Too early?

Trying to explain to my children how Mommy will be unavailable at 1 pm EST. I don’t want to miss the first Prado double fist bump of the season. It’s gonna be awesome!!!

Coming soon

I thought “soon” meant hours not days. Guess my decoder ring is dusty.

I know it’s the Astros but a lot of good things went on today. Love the double plays especially. The infield defensive drills going on make me very happy.

Kind of off topic, but did anyone see Schultz’s tweet on the Heat signing Mike Bibby. Geez Schultz, tell us how you really feel. His going to Spring Training article was pretty funny, too.

And Schultz’s digi-blogs have been really good as well.
I want a 2 – 3 day from Schafer today. He starts in Left today.

I want our bullpen not to suck today.
That is all.

“I’m really going up to the plate trying to be aggressive with every pitch,” McLouth said. “It’s amazing how much better you see offspeed pitches when you’re really aggressive with the fastball.”
Are we excited about his double? Dare we hope?

Leah – I’m really conflicted about McLouth’s spring. I can’t tell if I want him to completely go off the rails or have a good spring. I just can’t trust him!
