So I was out at a neighborhood bar last night and I swear I looked up and saw someone who looked like Dan Uggla on the base path at some point. Can someone confirm that for me? Otherwise, I was hallucinating.
Mark, I would do a trade in CF if it was for an upgrade over what we already have, which shouldn’t be too hard to find. I wouldn’t trade top tier pitching prospects- Teheran, Minor, Beachy, Delgado, Vizcaino- unless it was for a difference maker. I consider Kemp to be a difference maker. The more I think about Granderson I consider him a difference maker. The one concern I have with Granderson is that all of those homers are coming in Yankee stadium.
This team also needs another guy off the bench who can hit. I have no faith in Hicks, Hernandez, or Conrad. Our bench players see the field a lot, so it would be nice to have some more guys who can handle the bat.
For sure. The best part of his game, imo, is his ability to hit the ball the other way.Far too often you see young players swinging for the fences after they’ve hit a huge bomb. And that was most definitely a huge bomb. His potential is awesome.
I would say that Dan Uggla might have gotten of the schnide last night but we’ve been there a few times before (although he did strike out three other times). Let’s hope he’s on his way back in timing his swing.
