Anne, that made me laugh.

Gift run. not good with our offense.

C’mon on Bravos, let’s salvage this last game. I’ve got to tell you, it was lain gruesome at the ballpark Wednesday night. The Braves looked awful. The at-bats were a joke. I know you can’t get too overly high or low game to game but…. Last night was really tough.
Hopefully the Hanson news is not too bad. Looking forward to Delgado.

Cannot watch another loss to the Mets. Sad we won’t see Hanson tomorrow night.
June 16th, 2011 at 8:04 pm
Gees, Minor just isn’t ready. He simply cannot spot the ball. I think I’m going to flip channels and watch Bradon Beachy deal — GWT is beating the Durham Bulls and he’s pitching a gem.

Brooks is the bomb off the bench!
June 16th, 2011 at 10:36 pm
Wha . . . .?
I’ll take it.
June 16th, 2011 at 10:37 pm
Did Diory get him to flinch?
June 16th, 2011 at 10:38 pm
I missed the base hit that Freddie had. Has he finally gotten over that long homerun? He looks like he is trying to repeat it every at bat on low pitches… “golf another one…”
June 16th, 2011 at 10:39 pm
57 Guess not…
June 16th, 2011 at 10:39 pm
Gotta love J-Hey’s emotion right there. Go Braves!
June 16th, 2011 at 10:44 pm
A balk-off!
June 16th, 2011 at 10:58 pm
LOVE “balk-off”
However we can get wins, we’ll take them. It was not a pretty game and there was much to wring hands about, but they didn’t give up and that’s a big deal.

Great, now Chipper might be going down just as his dad gave him some advice that seemed to have helped him in the past week.
Me thinks this Texas series is going to be miserable but hopefully tonight is a sign of a momentum shift back to good baseball. When the Phillies get hot (they’ve won 7 in a row now) they usually stay hot. At least we’re one game up on the Red Birds in the Wildcard.
June 16th, 2011 at 11:59 pm
Ah oh: Texas RHP Colby Lewis is 0-2 sporting a 28.93 ERA.
I sure hope this doesn’t mean that the MLB Network is going to have the Live Lookin going with the “Developing Story” graphic around the 5th inning tomorrow night reporting on Lewis pitcing a no hitter or a perfect game.
June 17th, 2011 at 6:19 am
I don’t think Uggla is back.
June 17th, 2011 at 8:59 am
#65 – could not agree more
June 17th, 2011 at 9:15 am
Uh-oh, Tommy…
June 17th, 2011 at 9:29 am
Instead of bringing up Delgado, do you not just start Martinez? Seems odd to me.
June 17th, 2011 at 9:44 am
If I’m to believe the tabloids…it’s Hamilton’s birthday. Happy Birthday, sir!!
June 17th, 2011 at 10:05 am
#68, Maybe they’re showing him off for a suitor…
Happy B-day, Ham
June 17th, 2011 at 5:08 pm
Nate has it right at #68, without a doubt. If Delgado comes in and somehow pulls off a 1 or 2 run outing, it’s a gamble that will pay in something along the lines of Hunter Pence. Mark it down.
Happy Birthday, Hammy.
June 17th, 2011 at 5:18 pm
Rain delay possibility…really? I’ve had the crappiest luck on days I’ve got tickets this season…
June 17th, 2011 at 5:43 pm
Happy birthday Ham!
The Rev has been prepping me for the disappointment of a loss. Something about the experience is as important as a victory. He hates it when I cuss in front of the kids.
June 17th, 2011 at 6:23 pm
I hope the Braves are patient and evaluate or pitchers carefully. I would hate for us to look back 5 years from now and see that we traded the wrong people and kept the wrong people. Pence isn’t that good to be trading the whole farm away. Maybe Kemp is though.
Hanson – Unorthodox delivery. Certain arm trouble
JJ- Boras client will be leaving in a couple years.
Medlen- Probably more of a bullpen guy.
Lowe- 37 and declining
Hudson- 35 and declining
Beachy, Minor, Delgado, Tehran- unproven
