#174 – when Leah’s at the park, he forgets his mom is even there.

Not to mention this was all against Livan and the Nats.
On a side note, anyone seen the Diving Bell and the Butterfly?
July 16th, 2011 at 11:32 am
I was kind of worried about the Braves getting off to a slow start with Livan and Lannan being the first two we face in the second half, but our guys are starting to get a little swagger going.
I loved this quote from Prado on the team:
On team coming out of break with this offense
“It doesn’t surprise the way these guys work every day, the way they prepare before the game. When I was hurt, I saw my team doing it all. I’m proud to be a Brave and to be part of the team.”

Nate, thanks for posting that. He’s so awesome.

Curt — yes, I’ve seen the Diving Bell and the Butterfly. tough movie, but one of my favorites of the past 10 years or so

#179, agreed on Prado’s awesomeness.

Phillies down 0-6 against the Mets. ‘Tis a good day.
July 16th, 2011 at 6:25 pm
Phillies getting creamed. Now 11-2 Mets.

I lost my Oakleys in the ocean today. Not the worst thing that could happen to a girl but still…very sad.
Need a win Bravos!

Not what I had in mind.

Dude in wedding dress on-field + B52s post-game concert best things about tonight’s (wow I’m keeping Bub-type hours!) LAST night’s game.
Phils lost too…evens it allll out. Go Braves rubber game!

Only one game, but, in the long run Braves will need more runs which starts with more players hitting over .250 (Uggla, Gonzo, Heyward, McLouth, Schaefer, Conrad, Hicks- boy, do these names strike fear in the minds of the other teams) Uggla MAY have turned the corner; who is next? You can bet that Phillies and other contenders will make improvements before trading deadline is over; unfortunately, none of the listed Braves except Heyward are tradeable. Who would want them? Depth/bench was an issue in March and the Braves should be applauded for the job they have done. Now it is time for Wren to do his job.
July 17th, 2011 at 12:56 pm
Meant to mention that it would be easier if Atlanta fans were filling the stadium so Wren would have the money to spend on players. Some teams in the race fill the stadium. What do you think is the problem? Did all the division championships raise expectations too high? A good product is there; the pitching alone is worth the price of admission.

What the hell?
July 17th, 2011 at 4:34 pm
McLouth! Unbelievable. We will win this game.
July 17th, 2011 at 5:01 pm
Love it! We come out on top in a high-scoring game!
July 17th, 2011 at 5:06 pm
Hell yes. It wasn’t the prettiest, but I’ll take it.
July 17th, 2011 at 5:29 pm
I agree. Great win for the Braves McCouth tied it up and Uggla continues his hitting streak. R we going to drop the “struggla” meter? You can think something up for Proctor but you have to maintain the show family friendly.
July 17th, 2011 at 5:49 pm
Ok…I went to the beach with us losing 5-1. Cannot wait to watch the end!
July 17th, 2011 at 5:51 pm
I mean 6-2
July 17th, 2011 at 6:00 pm
Did you hear Fredi in the post-game interview? He said “catch 20/20″ when he meant catch-22.
Really… the stuff that comes out of his mouth.
July 17th, 2011 at 6:43 pm
Wow! Kimbrel came in to pitch the 9th in a tied ballgame?
July 17th, 2011 at 6:55 pm
196, Fredi is looking brilliant right now; but, don’t take his advice on your investments and don’t ask him to help you with your term paper. Doubt he ever watched 20/20 and not sure he has it (20/20 vision )either based on what he seems to see during the games.
July 17th, 2011 at 7:49 pm
Where was the pie in the face for Freeman?
July 17th, 2011 at 8:12 pm
Yikes. Love the catch 20/20 thing. Thanks for passing that on.
