A very feel good story about our boys. http://bit.ly/pR0Kjt

    Walker Says:

Great story. I am very lucky to have grown up in Atlanta and become a fan of this franchise.

    Curt Says:

Bub, the kids and I were shooting birds in full force for you last night.

    David Says:

    bub – done. Welcome back

    Anne Says:

Lookin’ forward to Braves baseball tonight – live at the Ted – it’s been a while! Go Braves!!

    David Says:

Okay, good — apparently we aren’t the only team that Randy Wells owns. The guy threw a 2-hitter against the Giants last night.

Is is STILL baseball season?? Looks like most of US took a break too! ;)

    Steve Says:

Anyone going to the Tweet Up Thursday night at the Ted? I will be there.

    Leah Says:

I wish! When will we have a date for the “annual ABT playoff game reunion party of awesomeness”?

  10. 35
    Steve Says:

Leah – assuming the Braves are the Wildcard team, then games 3 and 4 of the NLDS should be in Atlanta and those would be October 4 and 5 (a Tuesday and Wednesday). Do you have a preference?

  11. 36
    Leah Says:

Damn. Forgot about the family beach trip. I don’t expect ABT to wait on me but I’ll have to come to the next round of games. Do we know those dates yet? I’ll look into a fully refundable plane ticket.

  12. 37
    Steve Says:

Leah – assuming that the NLCS will be the 2-3-2 format and, assuming it’s Atlanta vs. Philly, those three home games would be 10/12, 10/13, 10/14.

Here’s a link to the Postseason schedule:

#37 Love the careful antijinx wording. Out of those dates the 13th is my favorite. The 12th is second favorite. I couldn’t make the 14th. Has anyone told you you’d be a great secretary?

  14. 39
    Anne Says:

    Steve prefers taking dictation.

  15. 40
    Leah Says:

Hate when we play the Nats…blacked out. Hopes someone on here feels chatty…

  16. 41
    Anne Says:

Leah: so far bottom of first 0-0 and Bourne just got a single

  17. 42
    Anne Says:

What fresh hell is this, Jair? Wash up 1-0 with men at the corners

  18. 43
    Walker Says:

OK now I’m officially worried about JJ. He just hasn’t been the same. Velocity is down. Location is bad.

  19. 44
    Leah Says:

Sad…Anne, watching gameday…pitch by pitch. Very boring.

  20. 45
    David Says:

Okay, how about this for our postseason rotation?

    Hudson
    Beachy
    Livan Hernandez
    Lowe

We get Livan on a waiver trade. What do y’all think?

  21. 46
    Nate Says:

    Yuck.

  22. 47
    Walker Says:

The Nationals have the two best kept secrets to beat he Braves……… Livan Hernandez and John Lannan.

  23. 48
    G-Dawg Says:

Just for the record, Hardball Talk is reporting that Tommy Hanson could be pitching again in only a few weeks and will likely be part of the starting postseason rotation. Get on your knees and thank God, people.

  24. 49
    Steve Says:

    #45, Funny and sad.

  25. 50
    Steve Says:

#48, Let it be true. It was certainly good news coming out of Dr. Andrews’ office today.
