#100 Is my favorite post…forever and always…done. I want to meet that lady more than I want to meet her son. Ok, that’s a lie. But I wouldn’t hate meeting her.

That madness is officially over: http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2011/09/braves-release-julio-lugo.html

I kinda wish we could have kept Wes Helms. I have no interest in his playing for the Braves, I just don’t want him playing for anyone else.

    100 is awesome!

    Steve Says:

Leah – no worries about Helms this year. He’s injured and can’t play the rest of the season.

Didn’t the Dodgers expand their roster, too? Surprised Billingsly is in there for so long.

    Wallker Says:

The release of Lugo really goes to show how much of this game is a business. I thought they would at least keep him until the end of the year. I bet he was excited to see some postseason ball on the bench and cheer on his teammates.

    Steve Says:

Just went to MLB.com to check the Philly score. Had a feeling they’d be losing. That feeling was wrong.

    Steve Says:

The Jack Wilson signing was solely so they could release Lugo.

    Wallker Says:

    @ 100
That was great. Mama Prado don’t play. She knows that multimillion dollar contract is within their grasps and she wants it bad.

    Walker Says:

I really feel bad for whoever has to face Verlander in the ALDS. That’s an automatic 2 losses.

  12. 112
    Leah Says:

Hats off to Curt. Good luck catching Kate.

  13. 113
    Leah Says:

Gordan looks like a sane, unbleached Michael Jackson.

  14. 114
    Leah Says:

    Is the kid nervous?

  15. 115
    Nate Says:

I guess 4 straight hits is too early to take a reliever out…

  16. 116
    Nate Says:

I guess the kid will either get out of it or we’ll be down by at least 3. Seems logical, Fredi.

  17. 117
    Leah Says:

    Finally!!!!!

  18. 118
    Nate Says:

6 straight men reach base. I hope Fredi improves his in-game managing in the next month. Otherwise he might be good for at least one L in October, maybe more considering the offenses we’ll be facing and his inability to “get the hook”.

  19. 119
    Leah Says:

    This game is sad.

  20. 120
    Nate Says:

Not to mention, you’re bringing Christian into a terrible situation. Bases loaded, 1 out, Ethier up. Just bad.

  21. 121
    Leah Says:

    That was so ugly.

  22. 122
    Nate Says:

    #119, #121, yes and yes.

  23. 123
    Walker Says:

Wasn’t Sherrill available to pitch to Eithier?

On the bright side, The Braves would have been able to win this game if they wanted to. If this were October, O’ventrable would be in full effect.

  24. 124
    Leah Says:

Sherrill on the DL. Is Fredi ever gonna get tossed?

  25. 125
    Leah Says:

    Oh Martin…if ya love me…
