So John Coppolella is resigning today. Looks like “The Braves Way” won out after all. Disappointing.

John Coppolella threw away his whole baseball career. Now he he has to get a regular job. Shame.

I’d like to rescind my original comment. Was posted without hearing the whole story. He brought this on himself.

Just an awful story. And you’re right – threw it all away. Selfish and immature.

Yes Dayton Moore has won a World Series BUT the Royals have only made the playoffs in just two of his 11 seasons as GM. Im so tired of the Cox/Schuerholz deathgrip on this organization. They are picking up Snitker’s option but are going to probably fire either Pendleton or Eddie Perez. Yes, it’s all the first base and bench coach’s fault. This organization is delusional sometimes.

Walker’s comments above beat me to it relating to the ‘old boys’ continuing to meddle and muddle their way toward senility. I say pull the chain and flush ’em all down the pipes! I’ll vote for a new local owner while that’s going on but probably unrealistic to dream that happening.

It looks to me that the Braves are now the Cleveland Browns of MLB.
