I have not been this optimistic & excited about the future of Braves baseball in YEARS. And like I said on the AJC website on the very day A.A. was hired. The second all the ‘i’s were dotted & ‘t’s were crossed on his contract ‘our’ team instantly improved & got better. In my humble opinion, of course. Though after seeing/hearing/reading about his tenure here in Toronto as Jays GM, I am more than confident in saying that he more than knows ‘what time it is’. So keep your heads up, y’all & maybe, just maybe my prediction of ‘our’ team making the playoffs in 2020 will come true. Here is hoping so & GO BRAVOS!!!

I agree that this was a fantastic move. And such welcome news after the madness of the Coppy mess.

In Alex Anthopoulos, the Braves hired who we hoped Coppy was or would become. And it seems they are ready to finally going to do some things in a different way. I think a lot of us have been waiting on this for a long time.

I’m not a proponent of cheating, but the level of shame over this “scandal” seems excessive. He broke some rules, he got caught, there will be consequences. Other than I suppose it is dishonest, why feel ashamed for the team? Unless y’all know more than I do (okay, ya’ll definitely know more than I do, but I mean something specific about this) it isn’t like he went out and hurt somebody. A lot of the speculation I’ve heard is more along the lines of he broke rules designed to hold down prospects’ pay. Hard for me to feel too bad about that.
