Great Show.
I’m pretty sure the Braves will get at least one of the last 4 big available players. Kluber, Harper, Machado, or Realmuto will be on the opening day roster.
GUARANTEED. YOU HEARD IT HEAR FIRST

I like it, Walker. It seems like such an absurd waste of the window for them not to get a game changer like that.

My view is the Braves front office and ownership places a far higher priority on fiscal budgeting than going all in for a championship. They’ll make money with this strategy but for how long? It would seem they view Atlanta as a backwater market where only so many dollars can be spent to keep the fan base engaged.
Flash! If so, it won’t work.

I actually think they’ve cheated themselves out of money with what they’ve spent so far. I was surprised they actually spent what they did.
I believe they can spend very little and still keep the ballpark/battery filled up for a few years with what they had in the last game from this past season. People will definitely open up the pocketbooks to eat at the restaurants/go to the ballpark, etc.
Of course, I have to wonder how much Liberty Media can REALLY pay attention to the baseball end of things.
