I think Dan breaks out this week, and this week gets him in the all star game, he will bat over 3.50 with 3 hr and 9 rbi

Ozzie Albies is probably going to be the All Star NL starting second baseman and hes hitting 8th. Think about that. Deep lineup. Best offense since 2003.

I want to again thank the hosts for continuing this podcast in the face of what appears to be a smallish audience although I don’t know that as a fact. I’d like to ask them to provide some background info on their credentials to know them better.
I’d also advise that all business success is sales-marketing success. All the best to the guys doing this podcast.

The Braves need another starter like Sonny Gray or Marcus Stroman to round out their rotation. They also must continue to develop relievers who can go more than 1 inning. On those “in the lead through 5 or 6 inning nights”, I need to bring in 3 relievers (ideally). I also need my middle relievers to go 2 innings (if needed). Clearly, the ideal MLB setup should read as your starter targeting 5 or 6 innings. The middle relievers need to be able to go 2 innings (if needed). Ideally, a team should have a starter capable of going 6 (with middle relievers capable of going 2…with the setup and closer capable of pitching the 8th or 9th and another couple of outs (if needed).

BIG PICTURE SAYS: The Braves must add another top of the rotation starter plus a closer AND another reliever to have a legit chance at winning the World Series. Astros-Yankees-Dodgers-Cubs have the advantage (as usual).
