Hanson should be put into the rotation sooner than later. He’s not that young, they say he seems mentally ready, vets are there to help him out. Take the risk and get him through the adjustment period.

I get the sense that Glavine understands that he is just keeping the seat warm and might not even pitch a full season. I also believe that he would retire should he be stinking it up or constantly sitting on the disabled list. I think his pride and his love for the organization won’t allow him to embarrass himself or the team. But after the way Jo Jo has pitched this spring, Hanson might not be the first guy given the chance, should Glavine falter.
