Come on Bravos let’s make it 6! Surely we can beat the nats again. I mean, really it’s the Nats.

Holy crap holy crap holy crap I just got to my office (don’t ask) and turned on GameDay on the web…holy crap look who’s in RF!!

I’m officially off of the bandwagon. My god that was so incredibly terrible. I want to punch something.

that was me. I take full credit for jumping the ship. That game is why I refuse to commit.

I wish I could jump ship. I think I need an intervention…just can’t stop watching and hoping. Pitch after pitch after pitch.

Curt, c’mon man. That one wasn’t so bad. Can’t win ‘em all. I think our record when leading in the 8th is ridiculously good (anybody got that number?).
Lost a hard fought game. I’m okay with it.
Win tomorrow and all is forgiven.

It’s bottom of the 8th and we’re down 4 – 1. If all is not forgiven, then where does this leave us? And I disagree. Saturday’s loss was bad. It wasn’t all tooth and nail and the best team won. We had it in the bag and gave it up because Bobby pitched Gonzo for the 4th time in 5 nights and 3 in a row. We gave it up and that hurts.

Is it ok for me to assume that the Phils sweep hysteria is now dead? Losing 2 of 3 to DC, while the Phils swept the Mets. I think we can safely say this team is running in place.
And what the hell is it about the Nationals? This playing to the competition stuff really irritates me.
July 5th, 2009 at 5:12 pm
Good grief…what in God’s name is it with the freakin’ Nationals? One of the worst teams in the game today, & they have a winning record against us. This series against Washington has been nothing less than frustrating. I hope they can put it behind them and take the series in Chicago…

Let’s shake the bugs off our feet and go bear hunting. I feel a second wind coming. I don’t know why but I do. The Nats own us. Why? No idea.
July 5th, 2009 at 7:15 pm
Well, that was awful. Sigh upon everlasting sigh.
