Will, please remove all sharp objects from your place of dwelling before the weekend begins. Curt, are you referring to fetal position post or “I Want to Kiss You All Over”. Both hilarious.
September 18th, 2009 at 12:36 pm
Since when did posting become a contest? That takes the fun out of it…c’mon.
We have a 5 day weekend in Japan…no shizzle.
That gives me plenty of time to finish whittling my Curt doll….
September 18th, 2009 at 12:48 pm
If we make the playoffs you all owe me beers at the ABT barbecue next season. Hint hint.
If we don’t, I will donate $100 to a charity of Curt’s choice!
September 18th, 2009 at 2:19 pm
Did someone say Barbecue???
September 18th, 2009 at 2:50 pm
Mmmmm…bar-b-q…
September 18th, 2009 at 2:57 pm
If we make it to the playoffs, Curt is going to give us each $100. The 7 in a row is just unbelievable. And there are really star-studded pitching match-ups this weekend. I refuse to get all wound up like I did last time the Phillies came to town for a weekend series, but, c’mon, let’s keep on winning!
Anne – it is not exactly a health club up there in the cafeteria. The soft serve yogurt machine (with toppings) and the Coke fountain maching are both free. People are not going back for seconds and thirds at the salad bar, I’ll tell ya.
September 18th, 2009 at 5:33 pm
People are missing my Kanye West – VMA gaff – joke. And I will gladly give everyone $100 should we make the playoffs.
September 18th, 2009 at 5:54 pm
Ohhhh…I get it. I thought I was missing something. You may have just damaged your career. Time and Will’s ability to forgive will tell.
September 18th, 2009 at 6:44 pm
If we win 10 straight, I’m going to tune in a game.
Please, please don’t let that happen.
September 18th, 2009 at 6:56 pm
So, are we playing good ball? What’s going on? Low-scoring? High-scoring? I saw somebody brag on Tommy. How’s Javy? JJ? That other guy? Is Hudson looking like something for next year?
McCann out of his slump? McLouth? Okay, nobody need answer all that, but can I get some random happy info to go with the happy record?
Thanks in advance.
September 18th, 2009 at 7:45 pm
Watch tonight and chat with us. McCann is definitely out of his slump. I LOVE watching McLouth play right now and if I’m not mistaken Frenchy’s batting average is better than Chipper’s. There’s the bait to wet your appetite. If your new lady friend doesn’t understand your need for the Braves it just won’t work. Unless she’s totally awesome and then baseball be damned.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:00 pm
Huddy looking good!
September 18th, 2009 at 8:02 pm
The current 7 game win streak is the longest for the Braves since 2006. They are 10 games over .500 for the first time since May 2007.
I almost forgot how bad they were the last few years until I read these stats.

Escobar benched!!
September 18th, 2009 at 8:22 pm
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…Meadow’s the man. Why is YEs benched?
September 18th, 2009 at 8:41 pm
Thanks for the updates, Leah & Tcc. I actually did put back enough free time to watch tonight, but the second I called of the books my brain and body slumped fover begging for an early bed.
I will get in here for a game chat before the season is up, I hope. But tonight it’s catch-up sleep.
I just peeked at the score and I thought my eye was about to start twitching. Maybe I’m just not strong enough for the Braves…
(Oh, and the lady you speak of is sleeping already. She’s worse than I am…)
(Gosh, it’s Friday, too, isn’t it? I should have stayed in school the first time.)
G’night, ABT’ers. Cheer some for me.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:43 pm
Escobar was benched by BC for loafing on the way to 1st base..throw was bad and Yuney could have been safe. Due to time constraints we now move ahead in the action. BC needs to be benched for letting Huddy pitch to Howard! Big mistake!!
September 18th, 2009 at 8:45 pm
I’m with Curt’s opinion. Let’s walk RH…everytime! Especially when men are on base.
September 18th, 2009 at 8:54 pm
I guess you don’t walk Howard then, putting Francisco on 2b, but jeez, that was a poke in the eye. For the third time this year…
Game aint over…
Curt and I just be playin. The joke sailed right over my head – now it all makes sense.
September 18th, 2009 at 9:01 pm
Doll & Tcc- I hadn’t refreshed the browser, didn’t see your posts. I was trying to figure out the BC logic more than anything. Maybe he is forgetting things? Im only 39 and I sometimes forget how I got home the night before…
September 18th, 2009 at 9:03 pm
Why?
September 18th, 2009 at 9:09 pm
Please…I need the smart people on here to tell me Why we pitch to Howard!!
September 18th, 2009 at 9:13 pm
No f*cking clue.
September 18th, 2009 at 9:19 pm
Thanks Ump…that helps. Wow Will, sounds like you have fun in that far far away land.
September 18th, 2009 at 9:21 pm
Ok “Doll” was cute the first time but now it’s annoying. Hopefully my multipersonalitied login name will remember it’s medication from now on.
