One thing I respect about Bobby’s decision is how he said he knew he needed to announce it ahead of time in order to avoid the temptation of trying for another year after next year. So that he’d have to stick with it, etc. That sounds pretty honest.

With all the false starts, gut punches, and “the season is over”s there’ve been this season, how freaking great and unbelievable has this run been? It’s just been absurd. 12 of 14 since the sweep by the Reds. MUST get into the post-season! C’mon St. Louis!!!!
