Looking forward to listening to this one soon. You guys might send a link to the DOB blog, since music & baseball are top passions over that way…

Be careful letting Hammy fly solo and spreading his wings…
I hear DOB is looking for a sidekick.
Ham will try to jam you guys in the ABT contract negotiations and pull a Furcal on you.
theres no loyalty these days…

Faxing over the term sheet now…

How about Manny?!?!? Unbelievable. Dear god, I want the Yankees to lose and I want Joe Torre’s team to beat them – for maximum pain and disappointment. C’mon Dodgers!
October 16th, 2009 at 7:35 pm
I’m with you, Steve. I can’t believe I’m watching playoffs on the edge of my sofa…and it’s only Game 2. Go Dodgers, indeed.
October 17th, 2009 at 12:06 am
Our cheaters can beat up your cheaters. Goooo Dodgers.

I’m feeling that feeling I was feeling the LAST time McCann had eye surgery. Any insights, fellas? (no pun intended)
October 17th, 2009 at 2:12 pm
Me too Anne, I am a bit anxious (if that’s the feeling you were feeling). But did anyone know Greg Norton has 20 career pinch hit walks (Tied for the MLB record)? Just suprised me.
October 17th, 2009 at 9:21 pm
For what its worth I had 20/20 vision until I was 26 and then I developed astigmatism. (the shape of the eyeball changes). It got worse once when I was 35. Point is you hit 20s your body changes. Mcann lost weight, etc who knows why, but if His Drs and the Braves drs are cool its prob ok.
October 17th, 2009 at 9:53 pm
I’ve always had astigmatism…in fact, that kept me from contacts until just recently. Now that I can get away from being a four-eyes, I’m so used to the glasses I’m not going to bother in my old age. Just today I got junk mail for Lasik. No. Freaking. Way.
Yes, Will. Anxious is indeed the feelin’ I’m feelin’.
October 19th, 2009 at 1:50 pm
I got Lasik and love it, love it, love it. It’s right up there with the operation I got to fix another pair of spherical objects in my body. That said, I started investigating Lasik in my early 30′s and was told that I couldn’t get it until my eye sight stopped changing (getting worse every year). Then around 37, they leveled off and I got the procedure soon after. All of which to say – ain’t McCann a little young to be getting this done? And, to Anne’s point, who has any confidence that this time it will stick? I don’t.

“It’s right up there with the operation I got to fix another pair of spherical objects in my body.”
You got a boob job, Steve? Kewl.
… can I come over?
October 19th, 2009 at 6:42 pm
I’ve long-admired Steve’s “corrective surgery.” You really do need to see it for yourself, Bub.
October 19th, 2009 at 6:47 pm
Oh how I needed that laugh. All three kids have the piggy flu and my 80 year old Memaw is visiting us. Do you think she’ll drop me from the will if she get’s it? AND…those damn Yankees won’t lose! What a Monday.
October 19th, 2009 at 6:57 pm
In other news…I’d really like for the Angels to win this one. Every station I listen to, it’s like a foregone conclusion that the Yankees have the World Series in their collective pocket.
October 19th, 2009 at 8:58 pm
*poof*
Done, Anne…
October 19th, 2009 at 10:55 pm
Leah, hope your kids get well soon.
October 19th, 2009 at 11:09 pm
Thanks for the love Bub. Me too. Mostly I hope my sweet Memaw doesn’t get it but “what ya gonna do”.

God I hate the Phillies (and the Yankees). Go Falcons
October 20th, 2009 at 9:00 am
Doesn’t it validate the Braves a little bit for the Phillies to dominate?
October 20th, 2009 at 9:17 am
And I’m all about hating the Phillies too, but my main goals are for the NL to win the Series and for the Yankees (I realize they’re related goals) to NOT win the Series. That’s all I want now. Don’t you all consider yourselves “NL fans” and want them to take the All Star game and the World Series, regardless of which team?
And Anne and Bub – now that you brought it up, since the surgery, I really do look amazing in a turtle neck or a button down.

I would add he fills out tight fitting sweaters nicely, as well.
