Drowning in awesomeness. The two most electric pitchers on the team in one show. You dudes are on fire. Good questions and good answers all around. Loved it.

    GO BRAVES!

Well said, it is a Bobby move. Lowe did need a pick me up a small one. As you all have said it really is not that big of a deal the rotation will change. Which brings up the weather last year it seemed the Braves were in more rain delays than last 3yrs combined. (seemed that way) Just from those 2 interviews i am beaming with more confidence than ever that the Braves are the sleeping giant in NL east and WS champs GO BRAVES!!!

oh..one thing….thinking that the 12 step music has to change.

we are not 12 step drunk-a$$ bums any more…we are going to win the WS!!!!

I’m loving the enthusiasm! I’m glad y’all are as pumped about the interviews as we were. And big props go out to the Braves PR folks who were instrumental.

And Bub – thanks for linking out about it.

I think the number one sign of the best kind of leader is the one that has no idea of his leadership. I absolutely loved the interviews. I love the humility of Wagner and the confidence in Hanson. So fun to have a team packed with talent and character. Maybe I’m naive but I’m just not concerned about J. Hey. He doesnt seem cocky or presumptuous and I should know right? Afterall, I read his tweets. We’re practically family.

So excited about tomorrow! If you’re watching the game PLEASE fill the board with details! I’ll refresh and scroll down til my thumbs fall off (hmmmm, erase and reword? Nah! Where’s the fun in that!)!

Due to the distraction of my good as gold yet chatty sister that first sentence doesn’t make sense. What I mean is the most effective influences are often times completely unaware of their position as leader.

    Princess Leah Says:

Since the rest of you ABTers are too busy to listen I’ll just keep talking. per Rowland’s desk “(An) interesting point Tommy G. made was that putting Hanson between JJ and Huddy takes a little pressure off because those other two figure to regularly go deep into games.”

Now that argument makes sense to me. I was also wondering if you don’t want your two best pitchers in the 1st and 4th spot in order to spread them out. That way each series would almost always see one of the top two. That’s probably something everyone already knows and I’m just now realizing. Thanks for your patience.

    Curt Says:

Leah, the starting rotations for the beginning of the season are often based on where the team is playing as well. Unless you have a clearly defined ace, managers might determine that one guy is better served to open on the road vs another, and as you mention, some guy might be saved to start the home opener, which is honestly a bigger deal, and therefore will be in the 4 spot.

    Steve Says:

Leah – per a press release from the Braves (and echoed in the DOB blog) tomorrow’s ST game can be heard on braves.com.

    Trip Says:

Great coverage. You’ve managed to edge your way into Braves journalism slowly but surely. Keep it up, and and I think you’ll be a top internet player. Great job with the “fan-based” niche. And if you stick to it and don’t “sellout”, to the team, you’re coverage will go far. Thanks for what you do. Oh, and you got the first audible Wag interview, kudos.

    Princess Leah Says:

Steve just made my manic Monday manageable. Thanks Steve!

    Bubdylan Says:

    A+ alliteration, Leah.

Howdy, Trip. Stick around. You sound valuable.

I’m a regular Dr. Seuss. 16 hours!!!!!!! By they way…did Wags include Acosta in that list of great guys in the bullpen?

  19. 19
    Bubdylan Says:

    ‘fraid so… :(

  20. 20
    Curt Says:

The game is being aired tomorrow on the MLB Network for those of you who get it.

  21. 21
    Princess Leah Says:

Thanks Curt…for really, radically, rubbing that in. ARG!

  22. 22
    Hammy Says:

Leah – I totally forgot about that and was going to mention it. I am sure that Wags doesn’t want to rock the boat, but it definitely was a case of “one of these things is not like the others”. It’s sort of like him saying “I love comedy. I have always enjoyed the great comedians: Lenny Bruce, George Carlin, Andy Kaufman, Carrot Top, Richard Pryor. All the great ones.”

Who knows, maybe Manny made a deal with the devil. Beyond that, I can’t imagine that anything would make him better.

  23. 23
    Princess Leah Says:

He honestly sounded like he was saying “Acosta” under his breath. I almost expected him to cough after. Good ole Wags. Character seems to ooze from his pores…I think it comes with the cowboy hat.

  24. 24
    Bubdylan Says:

Haha! That’s the funniest Carrot Top has ever been. Nice.

Love the “one of these things is not like the others” reference. I sent that song to my math professor after I visited his office and his door was covered in pictures of Tolkein, Carroll, MacDonald, Chesterton, Dostoyevsky, and … William Shatner.

  25. 25
    Princess Leah Says:

Alright…all you married guys tell your wives I said Jake is a freakin’ idiot! I hate it for him when he sees his mistake.
In other news…really Kate? DWTS? Really? That’s how you’re going to improve your image? Take weeks away from your 100 kids to learn how to dance?

    Go Braves!
