Hi Trip – welcome to the board. I echo Bub’s sentiment. And thanks for the kind words. We’re glad you’re enjoying the show.
Leah – I don’t get the sense that Kate’s kids are really on the top of the list anymore. I think the list looks more like: 1. Agent 2. Publicist 3. Kids

5 HOURS! I predict Prado hits a homer. Therea it is folks! Has anyone noticed that Daryl Strawberry is on Celebrity Apprentice and that ex Phillies coach who now is a coach for the Indians is on Amazing Race? What the heck’s happening?
Steve, I’m afraid you’re right. Poor adorable almond eyed dearies.
March 2nd, 2010 at 8:28 am
Can someone translate Leah’s references for me? I need a decoder ring.

Just pick up the latest issue of US Weekly. It will all make sense, Curtis.
March 2nd, 2010 at 9:30 am
It’s ok Curt. Settle yourself back into the 80’s. For the record, I’ve never watched any form of the apprentice and I only watch Dancing with the Sluts at the end of the season when it’s not a complete waste of time, rather a moderate one. And then I only watch when my husband is no where remotely close to the Tv cause…jeeze Louise!

Is the A Team still on TV?
I have to admit, I watch 0 reality TV, and very little big network stuff. I watch A&E, Military Channel, FX, HBO, AMC, etc. Watched what might be my favortie show on TV right now last night. Top Gear. It’s this brilliant, hilarious car show on BBC America. Monday nights at 8:00 p.m. A must see.
And Leah, my wife loves when I hijack the TV to watch documenatries about WWI on the Military Channel all day Saturdays. It cuts into her Law & Order time.
March 2nd, 2010 at 12:24 pm
Oh glorious common ground…love A&E especially their Jane Austen features (waves at Bub). In fact my favorite birthday present ever after jewelry with bling is Band of Brothers. And…while it’s not A&E the husband and I are considering joining Netflix just to watch Mad Men. So we can still be friends but I must repremand you for stealing your wife’s tv time.
Bum to the er on the probable rain delay.
March 2nd, 2010 at 12:49 pm
Better than the snow delay in Atlanta.
Band of Brothers is pure genius as is Mad Men and Breaking Bad (AMCs lesser known show). So looking forward to the “Pacific” coming this month on HBO. If it is half of BoBers it will be amazing.

I know I a not the first one to the party on this, but you should all give up whatever TV you are currently watching and watch The Wire. Seriously. Curt, stop watching Bridezillas, go to Netflix and watch the Wire. And if you “watched a couple of episodes when it was on”, then start over. It is the best show ever, and that is not hyperbole. Better than Lost, better than the Sopranos, even better than Big Brother 7.
Seriously. Will, can I get an amen.
March 2nd, 2010 at 1:37 pm
The Wire…noted. Better than Dexter? We love to hate Dexter. So is this game in a rain delay? The reason I ask is I can’t get any sort of audio on Braves.com or At Bat 2010.
March 2nd, 2010 at 1:57 pm
It is in the 3rd inning, 0-0 (Which Hanson is doing great so far and that the Jay-Hey kid is a complete failure).
I just dropped $120 for my MLBTV.com pass, with the promise that I could watch the game. Unfortunately, when I get to the last screen before the game, it hangs on me. GRRRRRR. Couldn’t they have ironed out the kinks before today?!? Oh well, if it starts working, I will keep you all posted.
March 2nd, 2010 at 1:57 pm
Leah – the game is happening. Go to braves.com and see the link for “Listen to free Webcast” – it’s below the main picture of Hanson.
March 2nd, 2010 at 1:58 pm
“Which ‘indicates’ Hanson . . .” – got too excited for the J-Hey joke.
March 2nd, 2010 at 2:24 pm
Ham, come on now dude. I gave watched every episode of every season of the Wire. As it aired. Not the Netflix mess. Keep up. You would love Breaking Bad. Check it out. 3rd season coming soon. AMC

Two walks, a single, and a stolen base from Heyward’s first ST game. Pitchers are only ahead of MOST hitters.
March 2nd, 2010 at 2:37 pm
Boo. Chavez getting slapped around.
March 2nd, 2010 at 2:38 pm
Sad…tiny iPhone shows no picture of Hanson or webcast. Still searching. Is J. Hey
really doing bad. No sarcasm people!
March 2nd, 2010 at 2:40 pm
Double Boo. Hit, error, hit. Mets tie it.
Bobby says the balls coming off bats after Chavez throws a pitch have that “Hank Aaron ring” to them.
March 2nd, 2010 at 2:41 pm
J-hey has earned two walks, a solid single, and a stolen base. That wasn’t sarcasm. He hasn’t made an out all day.
Meanwhile, the Mets have loaded the bases against “Pirates’ Revenge” Chavez.
March 2nd, 2010 at 2:48 pm
And listening to John Kincaide and Buck Belew call this game makes me long for Bob Rathbun.
March 2nd, 2010 at 2:53 pm
It’s pretty rough, but I dunno if I’d go that far. Although the “let’s stick to our roles” exchange re: Jeff Porter = aw. kward.
March 2nd, 2010 at 2:59 pm
Does Chavez have options? 8)
March 2nd, 2010 at 2:59 pm
Life sucks sometimes. Did y’all know that?

“… and to play off the words again, ‘little young’ is coming to the plate.”
To play off the words again.
Yeah.
