Bobby says about the one hit Hanson gave up in his simulated innings:
“I don’t know who they gave the hit to; I think they just made that one up.”
Is he being tongue in cheek at all, do you guys think? I mean, all these hits that just got caught up in the wind… Heyward’s one strike out being on “bad calls”… is he winking at us? Or is he cracked?

He was being tongue and cheek with that stuff about 15 years ago. Since then it’s become so ingrained in him that there is no longer a shred of irony in any of those comments.

Curt, I was at the Canes game and they showed the final score for UNC and GT. The place went crazy. Must be mostly NC State fans at hockey games.
